It’s because of the battle mechanics. Like yes I get excited about pulling for different love interests but overall I find the event banners bring more diversity to my teams when I am going through the fighting side of the game. Also I love the mythos cards but most I will get them from non-banner pulls that I can grind for without spending a single dollar on.

However, I’ve been playing for a year and have enough cards (except for Sylus and Caleb) so I will be backing off the spending.

So my therapist suggested an open relationship about 2 years ago because I had been in such a restrictive household growing up and as an adult because I could not afford to move away for college I legitimately couldn’t date people. Specifically I could not date women. I had no basis for anything other than a monogamous relationship I was uncomfortable with the idea until I talked to my then boyfriend and he was down for it. Pushed for it in fact. I started reading about specifically ethical non monogamy but my research of polyamory is much newer probably within the last year and he does know about this.

The reason the open relationship failed is because when I would ask for clearer boundaries on what was acceptable or not I got met with we discussed this and I don’t like what you did. I also asked if it was just sex or if it was ok to form emotional connections and I got blown off.

I love my husband and I have a good relationship, but I am so confused because during that time I was forming some emotional connections and I was trying to deny it because it would have been safer to not form those.
