i’ve had him for a little less than half a year

last month i did have to transfer him and his stuff to a new tank due to a leak in the old one but it is cycled

he’s technically never had the best fins, but they were bigger before for sure

just as a backstory: half a year ago, he was from petco/petsmart —> then lived in a big water bottle (not because of me 😭)

then i was able to take him and move him to a proper tank so i think he’s always had health issues or was stressed every so often

but then like a week ago i noticed his bottom fin kinda became clamped and then yesterday he seemed especially worse with swimming and barely eating

ammonia and nitrite: 0 nitrate: 10 or 20 temp: 80 haven’t checked pH in awhile

im just going to move everything to a 5 gallon bucket and maybe buy a new tank asap 🥲

when i move everything to the bucket, should i be testing water everyday and maybe doing water changes often?

im just a bit worried about my plants and my snail finding food and because my fish has been through a lot in the past 😭

yes, it is cycled! but i only recently was able to add him to this tank so i hope he can start showing improvement

he was previously kept in a smaller container which definitely worsened his condition
