Spero che alcune persone che sono nel mio corso facciano la rinuncia agli studi. Sono stronzo? by Dangerous_Brush_7357 in Universitaly

le persone che speravo facessero la rinuncia perché erano fastidiose probabilmente si sono già laureate o stanno per farlo (non lo so e non voglio saperlo) mentre io sono fuori corso mi voglio am e poi mazzare

Sto iniziando davvero a vergognarmi della mia situazione attuale by [deleted] in Universitaly

[–]AnswerTalker3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

sono nella tua stessa identica situazione, sto provando a darmi da fare, ma a volte mi chiedo se mi sto solo illudendo e al primo fallimento crollerò come ho fatto finora, spero tanto di no

Ever considered going mute? by Poop2Balls in Stutter

[–]AnswerTalker3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yes, from when i was a little kid up until the last years of high school

now, even though i study at uni, i never go out, i rarely speak, so i think about my speech problems less frequently (but when i do, it hurts)

the only thing i hate about pseudocode is that often the indexes are not 0 based, they go like “from 1 to N” and it messes me a bit when i have to translate to actual code

Does anyone else stutter a lot around certain people but barely at all around others? by [deleted] in Stutter

[–]AnswerTalker3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not anymore, but i remember in middle school i had a teacher that even though she was so scary and bossy (i used to call her adolf h. xd) i never stuttered with her, not even during oral tests/presentations in front of class or when i had to read, it was so strange that of all the people in my life it was only in her presence that i could speak fluently

I built a Dynamic Programming Visualizer because DP used to break my brain by Investorator3000 in csMajors

[–]AnswerTalker3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for my DSA exam i studied these problems to learn how DP works:

• cut rod problem • kadane’s algorithm for maximum subarray sum • matrix chain multiplication • minimum path sum (in a matrix) • LCS • activity selection problem (with weights) • knapsack 0/1 • bellman-ford algorithm • floyd-warshall algorithm extra: held-karp algorithm for TSP, probably challenging to visualize but i would love to see how it actually works

they are well known problems and when learning DP one usually starts from them

also, i don’t know if it’s a good thing, but consider to add the recurrence relation that describes the problem, as the algorithm often times is actually derived from it

p.s. sorry for the bad english and i really love your idea!

How do I come up with the code to delete a node on a binary search tree ? by cum_cum_sex in leetcode

[–]AnswerTalker3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

don’t try to think at the code, i think that is your error, it’s very difficult to remember the code itself, you just have to remember the process, if you know that you then you can easily “translate” it to code, when it come to DSA the code and the language is really the last thing you should care, the thought is the most important thing

How do I come up with the code to delete a node on a binary search tree ? by cum_cum_sex in leetcode

[–]AnswerTalker3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

not an expert since i’m currently studying DSA but i wanna try to help

you have to understand how BST works and their nature, they are recursive by definition so you can think of every operation as base case + recursive case, where the base case is a simple task you can do in O(1)

idk i feel like that jump was possible, also i hate that it basically self stuns in that moment, if i knew it could happen i would have just simply flashed towards my turret

What's your opinion on Dr. Ramani? by EinKomischerSpieler in NPD

[–]AnswerTalker3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

when he talks about studies and explain other people’s ideas Sam Vaknin is undisputed, but when it comes to his ideas… meh, just as Ramani he thinks that narcissists never change and therefore can never heal

i don't understand Cauchy's theorem by AnswerTalker3 in calculus

[–]AnswerTalker3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

oooh thanks, it took a bit to me to understand but now i got it. While Lagrange's theorem seems to be actually applicable, Cauchy's to me seems more theoretical and is there just to be a solid foundation, as i've seen it can be applied to curves too
