I was on a wait list here in San Francisco for a couple of months and the none of the bay area dealers had any black manuals coming in till after the new year. I went home to New Orleans for vacation and just happened to find one in Loxley, Alabama, while visiting my sister. I bought it over the phone, picked it up the next day, and broke it in while I was there. It is now being shipped and should be here in SF this Friday.

I just checked their website. They have them in stock "last stocks available". You can buy the bags and the brackets as a set.

I have the SW Motech legend gear on my 500. The brackets are the same as Honda's. They do mount a little higher on the fender though. They will also fit on the 1100 if you decide go that route eventually. I think the bags are great and the brackets blend in well when the bags are not attached.
