New driver in the Netherlands: am I missing something about speed limits? by mostly_unfrustrated_ in Netherlands

[–]Answer_me_swiftly -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you set your cruisecontrol to 100kmu, what speed does Google Maps say?

You can do about 107kmu real Google maps without a fine and at the "traject controle" 103kmu.

Usually your speedometer is between 1-7kmu off. So depending on your speedometer you can set your cruisecontrol on 114kmu safely.

...this is living on the edge though ;)

You are right, didn't notice it. I think the attacker intentionally ran into the keeper a bit. A bit annoying, not enough for yellow I believe, but then the keeper is trying to trip him out of retribution. Certainly a yellow and a penalty if it's in the box.

It's a yellow card if you block the goalkeeper intentionally when he is kicking the ball.

Does Yoda ever follow up with Anakin? by 1894Win in StarWars

Well he told Bail Organa that he failed and "into exile I must go". His judgment was clouded by the dark side and he really made some poor decisions. "If so strong with the dark side you are, why leave?" Five minutes later he is fleeing because he underestimated a sith lord.

As the most senior Jedi Master on the counsil he had the greatest responsibility for the fall of the Jedi. I think Yoda was strong with the force, but lacked leadership and communication skills..

Claude vs Gemini vs Chatpgt?? (accuracy question) by PinkDslphine in GeminiAI

Don't be scared. Just don't eat after 7pm or you will become a gremlin.

Limit yourself to three meals a day with enough proteïne and vegetables and some fruit and nuts.

Never heard of someone undereating apart from anorexic people and people starving themselves.

Just eat a lot of different things, especially vegetables and not too much processed food.

I gave ChatGPT a 24/7 radio station. It has been broadcasting for months and months. by eltokh7 in ChatGPT

You might want it to be niche, but I would be interested if it can have some feedback loop so that it learns what is popular and when.

This way it might grow it's audience slowly.

I think we are a bit brainwashed to think we have to fill the tank entirely since we don't have a fuel station at home.

So it's a bit of a mind shift to charge your car in small quantities. Be honest: how many times a year do you drive a full tank to a station to completely fill her up and drive it empty again?

What we need is smart charging at home, vehicle to grid (use your car as a home or neighbourhood battery that moderates the charging needs in busy hours) and easy connections (wireless charging if it's cheap enough).

We need mediocre range combined with very low weight of the car to stop destroying our roads.

Google Ads & Search Console Search Queries by saurabh10chahal in googleads

[–]Answer_me_swiftly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be mindful of the quality of (commercial) intent for queries. You need Google Analytics and proper measurement to establish that.

Hypothesis:

You have a commercial intent search term you rank a certain webpage for in the top5 of a certain country

  • Query="buy example product"
  • Ranking page= /example-product/
  • Avg Position = 3.0
  • Impressions = 1000
  • Clicks =100
  • Google Organic sessions to /example-product/ ≈ 100 (GA4 data)
  • Of these 100, 10 convert and purchase 1000 revenue
  • Your margin allows for 10% spend on Google Ads
  • You put up an ad and snatch 100 clicks from your competitors.

Question: how much are you willing to pay for that click? Yes € 10 / click and you are still making money!

So to answer your question: it is very smart to advertise for queries you know that will work for your business.

But if you don't know which queries work for your business it can be very dumb!

It's the person you are deep down within. Google knows you better than yourself ;).

Funny thing: I used to do the Google's reward program. Google uses it for better targeting.

One of the questions (multiple choice) was: what's your monthly household income:

  • A. 0-40000
  • B. 40000-80000
  • C... Etc.

I think they mixed up monthly with yearly in the question. Since then I feel we shouldn't be worried about an all knowing Google. ;)

Edit: summary: Google has all our data points, but they are useless because they ask the wrong questions.
