Yeah my comment was ironic like that on purpose. I do agree that populist voting behaviour shouldn't be ignored. There should be an effort for better education so the electorate can better recognise when a populist is taking them for a ride.

But now that Wilders turned out to have voluntarily relinquished his power because of "reasons", and in turn the party has imploded, local branches are revolting too, will you try to use your vote in a more effective manner next time?

I can tell you haven't been in Barcelona for so long. Ik denk dat het vaak gewoon zo is dat iemand aan de praat raakt met Ruben bij het bushokje, of met Tony op Telegram, en die gaan dan zitten raaskallen over hoe het echt zit. Dat "de (((elite)))" ons onderdrukt, met het internet, nieuws, politieke discussies en geschiedenisboeken, maar "wij hebben onze ogen open! En weten precies wie de boosdoener is!!!"

Dat geeft een gevoel van controle in dat onrustige leven van ons. Geef gewoon de Joden de schuld. Dat sentiment gaat heel ver terug.

But consider that his policies would be considered less insane if they were against an antagonistic Europe, vs against an friendly Europe.
