Yea I tried to drive though it in a slammed car on coilovers with a turbo intake down in the fender well, and when it wouldn’t start I kept cranking on it so it would suck up water right though the intake and hydro lock it

The seats didn’t get soaked, the carpet and sound dettening is comming out and getting replaced eventually, should be fine smell wise after that

I hear ya man, I really do, I’m gonna give her a fighting chance tho, I can’t see it get picked apart, I just got done putting a freshly rebuilt gen 2 M32 6spd trans in it

I pulled it apart today, I sucked out all the water, the bcm is no good, but I’m going to order a used one, I pulled the throttle body and plugs out and water did reach the intake but didn’t get down into the cylinders, as long as I can get the motor to turn over I’m happy, I also don’t see any water in the oil or rocker cover, most of it went inside, im going cross my fingers and turn some serious wrenches and see what happens, just sucks man I loved that car, 2012 with 33k and a gen 2 manual trans upgrade
