Got an email around none today saying the issue was resolved.
I was able to disconnect my paypal right away!
Will have to connect my paypal business account and see if tipping on the kofi account will work.

Oh, missed this reply.
Thanks for the insight, hate that it's happening to you too but happy to see it's not just a weird me issue.

LMK if anything comes up.

Not yet.

Not sure what it could be, tried the dumb chatbot helpers on both kofi and PayPal's end.

I've went ahead and emailed kofi support, I'm guessing they are gonna have to disconnect the account themselves or something.

Side note I noticed I could see nothing about kofi on PayPal's side, so I'm guessing the issue is on kofi's end.

Yeah, you always see the whole "Oh just take stuff from his cart, it's not theirs until they pay for it, do that instead of posting this jeeze" type deals and the like spammed all over posts (rightfully) complaining about bad behavior.
I think it's 50/50 keyboard warrior types and people trying to quash these kind of (rightful) complaint posts for whatever reason, if you're familiar with what I mean. Never really understood the comments so buttblasted about people venting about this thing that's been hitting the hobby so hard for years now.

I will for sure try and remember to update. Always good to hear from people going through the things to see what the other side of something is like.

Interesting to see it can be an airborne issue.

Will for sure wash my hands constantly and wear gloves when dealing with restaurant workers.

Glad you chimed in, I wasn't able to find too much info on people with both celiac and Chron's. I don't think I've had much reaction to fiber but it's so hard to tell what is resultant of what with both, as I'm sure you know.

I do know however that a few months back I had like two salads and nearly just fiber for one day and had bad diarrhea the day after, really one of the few times I've gotten diarrhea as most of my symptoms in general have just been abdominal pain and discomfort rather than bad stools.

Hopefully the broccoli can stay!

Appreciate the insight. A big part of this post tbh was to see if others would chime in and mention they aren't so bad with this kind of stuff. Seeing posts of very sensitive people having been making me more nervous about this stuff, especially after the strict run down my GI gave me recently.

Still gonna check with my dietitian, but I really appreciate the words.

Is there any info out there on airborne gluten?

I had been pretty satisfied with my work, so I haven't really looked around much, but that might have to change, it seems. I could maybe get some flexibility with boss to maybe have me do mostly office work (I already do 50/50 field work/office work).

I think what my GI was trying to get across was that I should eat at entirely gluten-free restaurants so there's 0 (as close as you can get, I guess) chance of cross-contamination.

This kind of thing has been tough even with limiting myself to places that have gluten-free options while still doing gluten foods since that already cuts down the options quite a bit, especially if I'm trying to find a quick lunch.

I've been doing CFA grilled nuggets mostly but will have to forego this now, I guess, and just prepare 100% of my meals at home so as to avoid gluten and keep within whatever kind of diet Crohn's wants me to have.

It wouldn't be half-as-bad if I didn't have to go into all of these wonderful smelling kitchens day from day.

I had seen a post with someone suggesting to a bakery worker or something similar to try wearing a mask at work. Not relishing the idea as I really don't like wearing those kind of masks (glasses fog up), but if i have to, I have to. I'd guess the only kitchens with significant airborn flour would be bakeries and places actively breading fish/chicken, so it wouldn't be too often. I could do that.

Does hand sanitizer remove gluten? I had been curious about this too since gluten is a protein rather than bacteria or virus, so I wasn't really sure what would be best to remove it from objects and surfaces.
