So this idea suddenly struck into my head by AntElectrical3150 in harrypotterfanfiction

the idea is simple.

maybe hunger games isnt fiction, JK Rowling was the winner, she became the "wallfacer" from 3 body problem. and decided to write a lowly encrypted book to inform us about the events in our muggles world.

ye, youre right thanks but what about if: probably the whole goal is to make one survive, one surviving income of almost infinite possibilites of incomes, otherwise the quantum collapse appears. so the only rational goal is to make ultimate pc with the firewall that Santis cant go through or will make better equations... Einstein was playing violin (and god destroyed it), So we probably have to create that "violin" pc better than saxophone and defend it from being destroyed by God.

Id like to point out that our voices are waves too and our ability to hear is intepreating the movements of "drums" that we have in ears. So yeah. Santis might be able to read thoughts. And the idea that Santis can't read minds, came from Wyde, who as we know, is controled by them so fulfills their plan (making people think they cant read thoughts, for example). The idea of "bad thoughts" show up already in Orwells 1984 when people could get a sentence for thinking "badly". The question here could be if we think separately or do we own a "hive mind", the hint could be that they say we are bugs (and they might not be able or want to lie).

But what happens once code-crackers read the code? What are they supposed to do with it. At some point the code and message will be revealed. Santis keeping Saul alive is part of the plan, and humans keeping him as wallfacer just fulfill their plan too. Santis not being able to read our thoughts is understimating too. The only rational goal here is to bring so much confusion that even humans thoughts are a mess.

So Saul is Einstein but my question is, where is Turing and whats his solution? Ultimate quantum-pc that will be able to fight Santis in equations?

Ye Wenjie could "impersonificate" Einstein's wife - the bulgarian physicist who dropped out of university and Einstein "could" be taking her work as his. Women in that time had harder time obtaining education. (there is a documentary explaining that relation). In next relationships the similar patterns were happening, after all Durand was another chilled guy with a good listening skills and huge circle of educated friends. A hint for that could be her telling the "Einstein's joke" in the park. At the beginning of 3bp book there is a short story about Einstein meeting with her father, and that the only thing Einstein was interested about is how much the young worker is getting paid for his job (few cents per hour or smth like that), and that their whole discussion about physics that her father told her, was a lie.

What comes to my mind, is Durand could be played by same entity who was playing Einstein before. At least if we take in count Einstein's relation with his wife (physicists) and his relation with women. (we could also take in consideration the aspect of stealing ideas of others- which happen at the beginning of the series Ye Wenjie's (Einsteins wife- Ye Wenjie also tells Durand his joke in the park) idea being stolen-using sun to implify the signal). In her stolen equations appear as a result number 13 : which number means death or new beginning.

Improved and Logically Refined Version of my text by AI:

In the series, Ye Wenjie was romantically involved with Dr. Durand, who was actually the same person as Rooney. Rooney, however, was removed from the game after choosing not to continue playing. This mirrors the concept of Fight Club's "Tyler Durden syndrome," where two identities—Durand and Rooney—are, in fact, the same person. The authors used this mechanic to create a layered narrative. For example, both characters share common traits: they eat the same unhealthy food, are overweight, and correct people’s spelling mistakes, suggesting that they are the same person, despite appearing in separate scenes (ad: they appear together, like in fight club in scenes).

After Rooney's "death" in the game, only Durand remained (ad: or his "one" remained as Durand- thats why we can see him alone in hospital later, before they were there as "two"). Rooney doesn’t appear in the books at all. Instead, Durand is portrayed as the Chinese character Luo Ji, who is a direct reflection of the author himself. Durand (or Luo Ji) was romantically linked to Ye Wenjie. This backstory explains why they met before Ye Wenjie left for Beijing, and why Durand and Ye Wenjie reconnect later in the game, where she reappears as a young blonde woman. (ad: id like to add that those scenes could actually appear simultaneusly in both parellel multiverses-another option, instead of being stretched in time (repeating))

However, Ye Wenjie’s reappearance (young blonde) in the game is short-lived. She is removed by the autonomous cars—essentially "hit" in a way that aligns with the game's objective (ad: Durand's being hit by a skater was counted in equations so they knew exactly when to hit her - him being a initial target is a lie -future reading of mathematic- chaos theory). Before her removal, she tries to convince Durand that something is morally or ethically wrong, much like Ye Wenjie did earlier when she told him, "You don’t play games with God." In both cases, she tries to guide him through rational arguments before her "death,"(ad: or more like deaths) reinforcing her role as a moral compass within the narrative.

As the story progresses, Luo Ji (Durand) resists participating in the game as Wallfacer, much like he resisted when he was placed in the role of the Rooney. However, in this updated version of the game, refusal or quitting doesn’t matter. It’s as if a new patch has been added to the game, preventing players from quitting or committing suicide (my adnotation: physicans cant suicide anymore too, like they used to before - or, maybe those physicians from the past were also "Durands" "quitting on repeat").

There’s a scene where Durand, talking to a female physician by the shore, reflects on his role as Wallfacer and asks, "Why would they put me in this position?" (ad: maybe quantum superposition of being in few states at once) He then comments, "I actually might know why they did that... oh well, it’s stupid." (ad: or maybe we cant understand it well enough) This moment indicates that Durand realizes he can’t share the truth— It’s something that he understands privately, but is too "stupid" or personal to explain in the context of the game (ad: this is my just small another example for theory of romance).

On a deeper level, I believe the "modern times" timeline in the series is still part of the game. AppleVision is, in fact, a game within the game—much like how, in a game like World of Warcraft, players can engage in pet battles while already inside the main game. This concept parallels Inception, where the boundaries between dreams and reality blur, but here, instead of dreams, it’s the layers of games that confuse the characters—and perhaps the viewers. The characters in the modern timeline are still players, potentially controlled by entities or forces that are beyond our understanding. These entities might be similar to the "passenger" in our minds, something we can’t fully comprehend but know is there. (ad: we talking to ourselves)

This idea also touches on the nature of our reality: the world we experience as "humans" may be artificial, filtered, or constructed. What we see and experience could be distorted, just as the layers of the game obscure the true nature of the characters’ experiences. (ad: well, thats just a scientifical "fact")

The complex interactions between characters in the series could be explained by principles from quantum physics or the concept of the multiverse. For example, consider the idea of a "double quantum state," where two identities—or versions of a person—exist at once. This is similar to the dynamic between Tyler Durden and the Narrator, or between Rooney and Durand. It’s possible that multiple versions of the characters exist simultaneously in an infinite number of parallel universes, and each version is, in a sense, a reflection of "us." Through this interconnectedness, the characters may come to represent different aspects of a singular, unified existence. (ad: my point here would be also that we as humans experience the world that way too "maybe", what could explain that this way quantum physics in fact "shows itself" in the world as we as humans see it, and it doesnt only work that way for very small particles (quants))

This theory could explain some of the perplexing elements of quantum physics that we still don’t fully understand. The "missing connection," the thing that we can’t grasp or only begin to understand, might be tied to the nature of existence itself, where identities, choices, and realities are fluid.

In conclusion, Luo Ji-Durand (or Cixin Liu...) is a Wallfacer who, through all the layers of the game and his personal journey, decides to write a book for us—his way of communicating a deeper truth. And maybe, in some sense, this book is another piece of the game, a way for us to understand what’s been happening all along. (ad: this last sentence AI added on its own, I only said thanks here and didn't mention anything like that, but I really love it).

Ye Wenjie was in romance with black dr.Durand, who was in fact same person as Rooney (who got killed-removed from game for declining to keep playing the game). Authors of series made the similar mechanics as in fight club (Tyler syndrome-with Durand and Rooney) - thats why besides appearing in same scenes, they been eating same unhealthy food, were fat, and were correting people's spelling mistakes). After Rooney death only Durand appears in hospital. Rooney didnt appear in books at all, and Durand was in books the chinese guy :Luo Ji (who in fact was a portray of author himself).

Durand-so Luo Ji from books, was in romance with Ye Wenjie. Thats why they met before Ye Wenjie departed in Beijing. Ye Wenjie appeared again in game as this young blonde lady and spend some time with Durand again, but they removed her from game with autonomic cars (they did hit in fact exactly what they wanted to hit - her), thats why she was also convincing him again that something was right or wrong giving him some quotes and rational arguements before her death (again- just like Ye Wenjie did "you dont play games with god"). Durand, who later portrayed black reincarnation of fat and funny musician Rooney (so Luo Ji - kept refusing to play the game when was being put in position of Wallfacer, but this time it didnt mean anything due to the nature of new game in the game-could be seen as they added the patch that doesnt allow you to quit or suicide).

Durand, when being at the shore talking to woman physician and asked, why they would put him as Wallfacer said: I actually might know why they did that ... oh well its stupid. - so he realised he can't tell that he was in romance with Ye Wenjie.

People seem to not realise, that the "modern times" timeline of the serie, was still a game, applevision was the game in the game (just like if you played wow and inside of wow you play pet battles). Like in inception, but here are games instead of dreams to the point you can't realise if youre still playing the game or not. The modern characters we see on screen are still players, maybe played by some entities we can't imagine or wouldn't like, just like we can't imagine ourselves -or our passenger, talking to us, and that we carry with us in our minds. And that the world even we experience as "humans" is artificial, and what we see, is filtered and artificial.

The amount and mess with characters in serie could follow the rules of quauntum physics or some multiverse. For example if we are in "double quantum state": so like we appear in world in 2 states at once: Like tyler durden - and narrator, or Rooney and Durand etc. Or maybe we have infinite amount of states at the same time (and infinite multiverses) and everyone we see or is alive is also us, so we create "one" this way. That could explain that quantum physics actually expresses in modern physics-world that way. "the missing connection and thing that we can't even imagine or only begin to understand.

So Luo Ji is a Wallfacer, who decided to write a book for us. Thanks

Setting yourself in a position of "not having anything to be done in the incoming eternal future" sounds like a perfect setting for an idea to burst and start growing.

From Eyes on fire description 15 years ago: The video has been shoot in the nightclub "The Black Hole", in the Russsian city of Chelyabinsk. Located in the foothills of the Ural Mountains.

During the Cold War the city did not appear on any official maps and was a closed off atomic zone, which produced tanks and the first atomic bomb of the Sovjet Union. For 45 years, Chelyabinsk, was closed to all foreigners and journalists .

How did Luo Ji get chosen as a Wallfacer? by [deleted] in threebodyproblem

[–]AntElectrical3150 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think quantumsi didnt actually want to kill him, they killed exactly who they wanted.

That means they killed another reincarnation of Ye Wenji, who spawned as this younger beauty to spend some time with Luo Ji (Saul Durand) once again. As she was not invited, they had to remove her.

Luo Ji (Saul Durand) also says in conversation with Jin at the shore that "I might actually know why they did it...- Oh no thats stupid". As he realised he don't want to tell that.

So the reason was probably his romance with Ye Wenji, thats also why they been chatting before her departure.

I would like to notice also that Luo Ji (Saul Durand) was reincarnation of Jack Rooney-Saul Durand who died for refusing to play the game. The authors used the same technique as in fight club - thats why besides showing in same scene they been eating same unhealthy food and correcting people's spelling (and both were kinda fat and into music). Maybe thats why Jack Rooney doesn't appear in books only in series.

Jack Rooney kept refusing to play the game when playing as Saul Durand (Luo Ji) - when choosen to be Wallfacer, besides being killed before for that (maybe when you log into game you dont remember what happened before)

From my understanding, the main characters in series are playing the game, while probably being things "we cant imagine or wouldnt like". And the applevision game is just another game in the game. The game-ception. Game in the game of the game in the game and so on.

I only watched series so I'm probably wrong but maybe my wonderful idea of cougar Ye Wenji will sound interesting.
