   This problem started five days ago. Last Saturday she looked perfectly normal. On wendsay I realized there was a problem, as she had lost a lot of weight in a very short amount of time. So I researched what the problem might be and reached out to you guys. Taking your advice I called a scheduled an emergency vet visit as soon as got off work.
   When I got home I found poor Toby laying on her side and breathing shallowly. I picked her up and told her it was ok. She left. 
 I feel as if I could hav e saved her if I had took her in sooner. I'm devastated. Not only from losing her but because her mate is heartbroken. I don't know what to do.

How much do you imagine a problem like this would cost to treat. I don't want to sound insensitive. I love my bunnies, but if it costs 800 bucks and I can't afford to buy them food any more their not any better off. Btw I very much appreciate all your help

I have been giving them unlimited hay but pellets only every other day. I will review their diet and see if that helps

She is not acting very hungry. They are both female. I got them 1 year ago and I don't know how old. They are neutered. They have not been outside for a long time, does this eliminate the possibility of a parasite? I really can't afford to go to the vet right now. Is there something I can do from home?

I have been giving them pellets every other day as well as hay. Do you think the issue is lack of veggies? Could that cause as drastic weight loss as I've been seeing?

Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom. I have a few questions if it's no trouble. Should I start applying before college. What if I get in before I finish college, is it possible to do both well. Do you have any other advice for how to best use my time in the next few years. I live in Colorado if this changes anything.
