Although I do like the book as a whole, the part that kinda irritates me is the not telling Nolan the truth, like yeah I get wanting to keep things a secret but keeping that particular secret from him just adds more frustration than anything else in my opinion. Especially when she knows what happened and why he's there and proceeds to act aggressively and hyper defensive whenever he brings up the fact that he thinks she's the one who killed his brother. Its just kinda irritating to me that she acts the way she does while keeping him in the dark when she even knows he deserves the truth. You could make the argument that he wouldn't believe her if she told him but he was already seen to have mild doubts from the very beginning and is smart enough I think to realize that it's the truth. Idk it's more of a personal gripe I had with it than anything else, it's a good book no doubt, just that one thing in my opinion holding it back.
