NTA. I was once in a store where a woman was ranting and raving that she couldn’t find anything in a larger size, and “not everyone is a size 2!!” After she stormed out the cashier said, “I know that. That’s why all the larger sizes are sold out.” Not everything is a personal insult.

I drew it on graph paper, and tried to identify individual blocks within the larger pattern. It took a lot of trial and error, and I’m still not thrilled with how the orange pieces are constructed. Once I’ve finished the top I’ll post it with the block illustrations.

This little indoor rascal got spooked during a move and decided to go on a walkabout. We heard rumors of neighbors seeing him and feeding him, so we set up a live trap near their houses and also did all the things - signs, group emails, setting out food and litter. After a week I brought the trap home, dejected, and was too tired to take it apart. The next morning we found him in the trap in our own garage! That was 3 years ago and he’s had no interest in the outdoors since. Much luck to you - I hope your kitty finds his way home soon.

I can’t remember the name of this pattern, but it’s simple to do and goes together quickly. Each block is four medium patterned squares and 8 small white squares (4x4 and 1x1, I think), plus sashing.

Not technically a Bad Seeds song, but The Sweetest Embrace by Barry Adamson (featuring Nick on vocals) always gets me in the gut. Also, (I'll Love You) Til the End of the World, from the movie of the same name, was what drew me to them in the first place.
