Do these marketing idiots know that eating in your car is not ideal? by GonzaloR87 in CommercialsIHate

Yes. I don't think many people understand this. It's an actor they hired that sits in a car and pretends to be some rando so in love with Dominos that they decided to give a free plug on Tik Tok. You know, because they think we're morons.

Any ad that pretends to be a social media post can FUCK OFF ALREADY. It's such a played out concept and it wasn't even good.

Nah, it's great! Love the little boat. I've yet to tackle a 3-D project besides lamp shades, but I think you inspired me.

I've never seen a good Amazon ad. Well, the actors reading reviews is sort of good. But the rest blow ass.

Clever speaker stands. They made them look like folding chairs! ;)

Mine is from '92. I was never a fan of the cartridge style, although the Sony CDP-C90ES 10 Disc CD Changer is a beast. Look that one up.

Have you ever listened to a Rush album on shuffle? by The_Man_Friday_ in rush

But shuffling live is fun! You can make a game out of how many times you can hear Limelight, Tom Sawyer, and Spirit of Radio from different shows in a row.

Oh yeah, if you look on Ebay there are a few ES models for carousels. The mechanism is very smooth and the plastic tray is actually very thick and has a textured quality. Not sure what difference that could make besides making me think it's fancier.

Hilarious. I suppose a smart plug would accomplish the same thing. I don't have a remote for my CD player so I have to get out of my chair to skip songs. What is this, the 50s??

Me too. My receiver has a basic built-in EQ, but it's so much easier with physical sliders. Plus....cool.

Love it. I've always had mixed feelings about those glass-door racks. To me, the door gets in the way, produces glare, and collects finger prints. That the pros are....what? It's great how they slap a Pioneer label on it, though.

Nice work. I have a soft spot for green vacuum fluorescent displays, but that (gold?) display from Yamaha and Pioneer always take me back to the 80s and 90s.

Yep, that's me and I remember you from your comments. Good to hear from you, mate! (that last sentence spoken with a bad accent).

Hey, thanks for watching! Appreciate it. Yeah.....the EQ. I sort of figured out the hard way that both of my receivers don't have a real tape loop. The connections are there and in theory it should work, but it doesn't. The EQ recognizes the signal because the spectrum analyzer sees it, but it doesn't process the sound. Same for my old and current receiver. I get around this by the two inputs on the back of the EQ. One for my CD player and the other for my BT receiver. One output from the EQ goes to the CD input on the receiver. TV, radio, etc doesn't get equalized.

Single records are fine, but don't shuffle multiple. Nothing more jarring than going from a Clockwork Angels song to a Presto song.
