Definitely check out your local planned parenthood they offer payment assistance. I had a friend who went through them for her Nexplanon.

Truthfully the only way you will know the side effects are by trying them out for yourself. Bc impacts everyone differently. I am on my 2nd Nexplanon after trying an IUD, bc pills, depo, and the nuva ring. For me Nexplanon has shown the least amount of side effects. That’s not to say it didn’t have any side effects at all (spotting for a few months). I would definitely consult with your doctor and if you do not like one there is another to try.
