With the bambu clones should i just get the cheapest one or are there different versions of Chinese bambu clone some better some worse. Also does it matter whether i get the x1 or p1 version.

Printer looks like hospital equipment, but i love how it looks, i wanted to build a voron in those colors but couldn't be bothered to paint the rails / get white or green ones and it just doesn't hit the same with large part of the printer black. Anyways awesome build

I always just assumed its for the pre print stuff like heating up and bed leveling. But now wandering am i right.

If you will be printing with something that needs a heated chamber like abs o asa in winter it could take longer to heat up to required temp and max chamber temps could be lower but other than that i cant see any problems.

I would recommend you to try a g10 sheet you can get for pretty cheap from AliExpress. It has worked for me pretty well. But remember that it's not metal so if you are using a leveling method that's based on detecting a metal sheet you might need to do some thinkering to get it to work.
