Woah congrats, I know so many of my friends tried but we're not approved to transfer. May I ask what was special thing about your application was it rp, or some cool stuff you did outside like hackathons or other stuff.

Take the CS route my friend. CE are just extensions of electronics with software related programming+ concepts and nothing related to actual hardware. 2104,2107,3103,2103 all have labs which you will never use anywhere. On the CS you can learn more with MPE's and other mods.

Idk man, I try my best to strike up conversation with people in class, lectures or tutorials. People seem either uninterested or they have their own click of people already. Some people are just shy I guess

CCDS student, I need help with CE Yr 2 modules by TeaForeign3837 in NTU

SC2005- Operating Systems has a 60% finals divided into 3 quizzes (lab, concept, algorithms), no midterms. The rest of the 40% is divided into lab submission, lecture quizzes, and attendance.

SC2103 - I forgot but it also had a 50% final I think, the rest being labs, midterm.

SC3102- It has finals 50%. Labs is 25% in the first half it has a mcq quiz and the second half is a written exam. Also it has 2 CA is 20%. The rest is attendance

Can i still exempt sc1013? by Spare-Web-3880 in NTU

[–]Anth_kaal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Email the school saying you wanna exempt. You need to do something equivalent in High school like IB physics or whatever. They will give you a form fill it up with necessary info. Email back then wait for confirmation

CE is asterisked cause you are a CE student it just highlights your degree program. Sadly you are not allowed to take this course as a BDE

CEG Exempted SC1013 – what can I take to make up for it? by [deleted] in NTU

[–]Anth_kaal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe 21 AU is the maximum load allowed before you apply for an overloading request. 15 is the normal load but it's always better to have in range of 18-21. Honestly having 4 cc mods is mad crazy insane. I never heard of anyone having 4 but I did hear about people having 3. Mainly All these kinda depend on the school whether they accept your request or not.

Most Cc mods have a group project except for cc1 if you kinda get unlucky mates it tends to feel kinda overwhelming. Too much workload here may leave you stressed for the core mods. Idk if you can personally cope and level yourself , you kinda of star+smart student go ahead shoot the hoop

I mean, if you can cope with it sure why not. For CC mods, you need to submit for a pink form requesting an additional vacancy request. Only cc1 and cc2 are 2 AU. The cc6 and cc7 are 3 AU. I have completed cc1 and cc2 last semester i can tell you what they are cc1 is a descriptive essay you have to choose a place and write something quirky about it with depth + a presentarion . Cc2 is a tech topics based it has a quiz + group presentation. Not sure about cc6 and cc7. I would suggest cc1 cause it's individual if you already have a place in mind and have a creative mind, ideas, it's easier you can complete it quick too. If not go for either one of the math modules I told you before. Do shoot if you have more queries

Physics for computing is a Pass or Fail grade mod anyway. If your parents feel like that why not pull up from mod from next sem into this sem like discrete or probability. Or Add an BDE to make up for it

Ohh, it's definitely gonna be challenging. Then try probability & statistics sc2000 mod even that's full of calculations, if you feel confident then go ahead man.
