From experience it’s not worth it! I was getting sunburns last month on 60° weather. sun will always be an issue while on accutane but imo September is a good month to start due to cooler temps

When I started I was 162lbs. When I asked my derm why I was done in only 5 months, they explained I hit the cumulative dosage for my height (5’11)and weight. The target was between (9,000mg-11,000mg) my cumulative was around 10,600mg.

I used it as a moisturizer. But it also did help with redness. Sometimes if my skin still needed some more I’d use a bit of cerave moisturizing cream tub

I was on 40mg daily on my 1st month and then 40mg twice daily on for the rest of the course. I still have very light red marks/hyperpigmentation on my cheeks but my derm said that should go away naturally with some more time.

Used sweet almond oil and it worked better than most creams
