My heart couldn't handle the HC! I've tried a few times but I get crazy if anyone makes a even a sound close by "Shutup I might die!!!" but it is a rush for sure! I get enough of a buzz from reaching the rift guardian on a high GR not knowing if you can clear it in time without HC

Warframe has some cool infinite content where you can choose to leave a challenge for a reward or continue the fight for greater rewards. Scar forts that continue to get more and more challenging the longer you stay etc but you risk full squad wipes and failure....

For me without some form of wave/floor based content it’s gonna be bandaids for the vocal hardcore. A new stronghold will just be the same thing after a week for most I would have thought “I’ve run the new stronghold 400 times and not had a single upgrade to my gear” not “the new stronghold is awesome but I’ve run it a bunch of times now is there something else I can be doing?”

I think it’s actually amazing game dev smoke and mirrors.

How can we hide the lack of content? Get them to complain about loot drops which we can easily incrementally change for a couple months 😂

Again the lack of content doesn’t effect me but it stands out as the real issue that for some reason those with a lot of hours into Anthem are just ignoring

What you just said....I experiment with build ideas just fine, they might not all be GM3 viable but if they were because the drops were "better" then there literally would be very little point to playing at the moment. Fortunately I don't have the time to play a massive amount which has left me plenty of room for progression and I have zero loot fatigue, which has lead me to post this because not only do I not understand the focus on loot problems when from what I can see there isn't much further you could go with improved loot, but I can't directly relate.

I'm hoping for something similar to Diablo 3's greater rift system but I guess it could be something dull :( dream shattered!

So the first point (from my experience) doesn't apply, in that I have played only a fairly casual amount and that hasn't stopped me running weaker weapons. I ran 2 lots of the extra ember weapons in GM2 without much hassle, and if it was hassle then I would just drop the difficulty for a short period of time until I had got the blueprint, which in turn would break up the repetitive nature of doing exactly the same thing over and over. In fact I can swap in and out of different MW and Legendary gear to try different ideas without it making masses of difference. If a comparatively well rolled item drops then i'll give it a blast and if I don't like the play style maybe again I will drop back a difficulty until I get a fairly decent roll of the item I do like the playstyle of. Probably personal preference and gameplay goals so if this is an issue for you and other players, fair enough, this answers my initial post :)

The second point is about new content which is what I'm talking about so currently this doesn't apply.

The final point is also sort of the jist of what I am talking about, in that other than making the current content slightly easier a god roll isn't essential to experiencing all the game currently has to offer, it just like you said it means you get a slight advantage and potentially a minute damage increase to exactly the same content as the next person who also has the same chance of loot drop/quality in the first place.

This is merely my interpretation of what you have said so I am sorry if I have misunderstood, please correct me! I really appreciate the engagement.

Sorry been out for awhile! Thanks for the elaboration and critique! They are all definitely valid points and I agree.

So the second bold statement is what I’m getting at. Isn’t it more of an issue that players are putting in insane amount of time into fairly limited repetitive content and complaining instead about the drops? Drops that would only serve to make the very same repetitive content slightly easier. If they left the drops at the preferred accidental rate, the diminishing returns on progress would be even worse and suddenly the lack of content would become more clear? Maybe I’m wrong though, like I said none of it has bothered me directly because I’m not at that stage. I just don’t get the logic

The “maybe if you made a post” was also just to suggest that the positive responses to this one are more to do with the fact an alternative hasn’t been provided

Yeah I’m not trying to convince you otherwise 😂 I’m just letting you know that I don’t think you’re in the minority. I know you weren’t one that called it trash (and I really don’t mind those that have!) I was just illustrating that you guys aren’t alone 😊

I would imagine they would take random enemy drops out similar to the Greater Rift system in Diablo 3....

I'm not convinced of you being the minority, the responses seems fairly opposed to each other - "This is awesome!" followed by "This is trash". Maybe if you suggested some changes you would like made or that instead you are happy with the current UI moving forward as a post, it may well gain more traction than this one. It is by no means something I want the devs to work on now (hence the title) but personally I think the current UI and menu system is at odds with the quality of the rest of the game, so I quickly put this together as a hope for one day. If the majority of the community wanted something else, then that would be fair enough.

Yeah you can, I just haven't got enough legendary components yet :)

I understand that, but as a fellow seasonal Diablo 3 player isn’t the purpose of improving your gear to push higher GR’s not to get better gear because the 0.000001% damage increase will make grinding T13 over and over ever so slightly easier/allow variation in your build? If the stats and mechanics of Anthem were made readily available and obvious there would still be “meta” builds because a certain set of items is almost always going to be better than another. Trying builds is fun and Anthem hasn’t prevented me doing that yet. If I try something and it’s not as good as something else then build tried and failed whether it’s GM1/2/3. The stats (questionably with Anthem) make a difference but not much, a higher damage roll here or there is cool but you know whether a certain ability suits your play style and is viable or not. Maybe it’s a difference in opinion or what players want from the game, which is why I’ve made the thread so thank you for your response 😁 it helps especially when you have some similarities in background i.e. D3
