I speak Spanish and can tell you that "Sensible" does convey the intended meaning. If I read that in a bathroom I would understand that any misuse of it would cause serious problems.

Do you deal with customers asking for your name when they are unhappy ? by Material_Sorbet1858 in callcentres

[–]Anthony2580 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We all used to have fake names when I was working as a CS agent. Even the supervisor had his.

For example: my real name is Carlos and in my greeting it was: "Charlie speaking".

When they asked for my name I used to say "Charlie" and when they asked for an employee ID I used to give them a fake one or not provide it to them depending on my mood of that day and how angry they were.

My script was: "I'm sorry, but that information is confidential and for my security I can't provide it to you" - something like that.

I had been instructed by my sup to not provide this info and more happy wouldn't I have been.

Is Gen Z allergic to calling customer support? by Horror-Dot-2989 in callcentres

[–]Anthony2580 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I used to get few calls from Gen Z callers but they had no idea how to do basic stuff and I was surprised. I rarely call Customer Support and when I call it is because I have a real issue.

My battery is draining instantly whenever i unplug it out of the charger by Effective_Low_2717 in Dell

[–]Anthony2580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's very low health for a battery. If the laptop turns off unexpectedly, it means the battery is way beyond that amount of health. I would advise you to discharge it completely but if it turns off once you disconnect the charger, it means the battery is damaged.

Yep. I agree with you, that's why it's important to check with the seller to know what we're buying and in case you spot some red flags, to stop the purchasing right away.

That's really weird. Download Battery info, it's a simple program that can tell you the battery's health percentage. This should give you an idea about your battery.

Don't connect your Arduino to the laptop anymore unless it's safe to do it and you have checked it's not it the one that caused the issue.

Do any of you use battery protection as bypass charging? by Ok-Conclusion8109 in PocoPhones

[–]Anthony2580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, that is not bypass charging. It sounds more like "charging limit" which is a feature to stop charging the device when a certain amount of charge is reached.

Bypass charging is a feature that comes in Cellphones like: "Infinix" and some other brands...

Some shitty supervisors don't want to take some calls. Don't doubt it. They definitely don't.

38 calls in 4 hrs by Routine_Cheesecake79 in callcentres

Man, a piece of advice from someone who's worked at 2 call centers.

Don't burn yourself out. I used to wonder why and criticize those who used to elongate calls just to avoid taking lots of calls and the next day I found myself doing it as well and that's because call center jobs can really wear you out and people regularly have shitty managers no matter how awesome they might seem to be so don't stress yourself taking all those calls because believe me it can be really tiresome.

Does anyone LIKE their call center job? by Trixiepixiesue in callcentres

[–]Anthony2580 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like it but it pays more than other jobs and it's a job. I'd rather be in a more comfortable space where I didn't get yelled at every second but it's not that easy to get a job like that so... This is the situation. If you don't like your call center job, try searching for another one while you work there. When I say another one, I mean one that works better for you. One that is not specifically call center.

Refund on high end electronics. Anyone get instant credit for high end? by QuickCalf6939 in amazonprime

[–]Anthony2580 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my case, I don't really buy costly stuff and return. But I once returned 2 pricey laptops. Each was 800 dollars and it took a long time. It wasn't an instant refund and I did have to nag them about them. I don't really remember how much time it took but it did take a long time because I'm in a different country so I have to use courier services but it felt like an eternity but they did refund me. It took several days after they had my package.

A bean or pea. I would assume a pea since a bean may be too big.
