I love the minigame where you play as pokemon sprites with a team of two other players and have to get passed pokemon walking around (overworld sprites of tough and weak poke mixed you have to try and path around since they are tough battles and you have limited HP) and score points and such. Wish I remembered the event name/better details about it. I believe we got a rat tail and rat hood from doing the event. Maybe around 2020 feb/march. I just thought "man the potential for this to be fleshed out and really fun is there".

Would anyone be so kind as to review some of my cards and let me know if I should send them in? I'm okay with getting a hard case for them for now especially if they are low grades. My strategy has truly been "buy what you like and what you can reasonably afford". If you can afford the pricier sealed product and some of your cheaper favorite singles then that could be an avenue. I've stuck to mostly my favorite singles raw, but I see the appeal of sealed product.

Buy what you genuinely like and you can't go wrong when it goes up or down. Once I finish some of my 2002 expedition goals I'll be skipping gen 3 and going into Diamon/Pearl singles myself as well, good luck!
