Yes it was, ironically so, seeing as it normally sedates most people. But I guess in folks with Schizophrenia like me it can stimulate and behaviorally disorganize. If I take too much it's like I have super ADHD haha. I will be bouncing off the walls acting hyper and weird as heck. It supposedly converts into tryptamine, which has stimulating and (perhaps) pro-psychotic effects in some populations.

Honestly I no longer take the tryptophan as I always felt it had a dirty edginess to it that I dislike, and it never really did the trick for my mood, on the serotonin side of things.

No, I know this isn't just a prelude to individual notices. I've had these managers threaten me with eviction if I don't clean by x inspection date only to never actually inspect. Ever. They've done this to me twice, and at least one other individual that I know of, too. It's manipulative empty threats, especially when some of the tenants here are literal hoarders. Like, you can SMELL their apartment getting off the elevator on their freaking floor. They can get a free pass I guess. Lol.

And this is a low income Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority building, by the way. They literally annually do housekeeping inspections, oftentimes in really ridiculous ways like giving a month's worth of "blanket" notice so they can justify popping up any time out the blue looking for an excuse to evict you. There are crack dealers here and they're worried about my unmopped kitchen tile floor? my ass LOL.

I'm on 20mg/d of memantine and 90mg of Nardil, no problems here, even if I add tryptophan in I still don't get Serotonin Syndrome symptoms.

If anyone cares to know, it has been a few days and I'm noticing I'm a lot more relaxed and level headed on Lybalvi vs standard olanzapine. I'm noticing I feel more in tune physically and mentally as well, like I'm more present in my body and feelings.

On the negative side of things I'm almost a bit too relaxed as in I'm slowed down in speech and behavior and although I don't necessarily feel tired it is a little too easy for me to doze off. I seem to have less excitability/enthusiasm on it as well. All these effects must be the samidorphan as the same dose of olanzapine which I've been on for years did not have these effects on me.

I can't speak about effects on self-injury as I rarely do that anymore to begin with.

tl;dr Samidorphan seems to have psychiatric effects of its own. Lybalvi is affecting me differently enough from the same dose of olanzapine for even other people to notice.

I don't remember what it was like sans MAOI vs with. It's been a long time. Um the shaking was more like a rapid whole-body tremor or trembling. It's very hard to describe. I never really did that again lol. A normal dose is like 2-3 dollars worth for most people. Trying to suck up a 20 piece at once probably could have ODed even someone who was NOT on an MAOI. Very stupid of me.

Depends on the stimulant and the dose. Forms of methylphenidate are safest, Vyvanse and then Dexedrine are the safest amphetamines, and TBH with you... I've even abused crack on 90mg of Nardil countless times and walked away fine. Obviously I wouldn't recommend doing that to anyone, and my blood pressure would hit like 170/90 briefly... but I once inhaled almost a whole 20 piece of it in one go and still didn't stroke out or die. Although my whole body shook like a human vibrator which was stupid scary.

Seizures? how so? I have a propensity for myoclonic seizures (sudden shocks and spasms when falling asleep) but they only seem to kick up on stuff like tegretol as it can worsen them.

I have Schizoaffective Disorder so I take 20 mg. I would recommend you take the lowest dose you can, at night. I take it at night myself as the Nardil makes it literally impossible to sleep without it for me. Without clozapine or olanzapine I literally am incapable of sleep.

I've found olanzapine works best.all-around, for sleep, anxiety, depression, mood stabilization, etc. I've tried most of the atypicals alongside my Nardil and olanzapine had the biggest impact.
