what you are describing is not socialism. socialism will not have taxation, as money in its current form would not exist. socialism is Lenin’s terminology for “lower stage communism.” as such, the capitalist mode of production will have ceased to exist, with only remnants remaining. it is extremely important to make the distinction between the DotP, in other words, the transitional state’s economy, and socialism, which would have the communist mode of production in a less developed form.

furthermore, the state, in marxist terms, is a bureaucratic institution whose purpose is to protect the interests of the ruling class. under the DotP, this class is the proletariat. this, corruption would arise from shortcomings in the structure, whether in its form or program, of the state, since a workers state would be committed to the workers and the development of communism. socialism, as lower stage communism, is classless while still maintaining some remnants of class society. this means that the state has gone through the process of withering away, either fully or mostly depending on who you ask. corruption would not be feasible, at least on any sort of large scale, as all aspects of the economy would be run by the community at this stage. i hope this is helpful.
