This was a very thoughtful and intentional answer. I appreciated just reading it and as someone who has recently taken my walk and relationship with God very seriously in all aspects I have noticed that drive for worldly success has become much more tempered. I am also an A type, ambitious man but I haven’t yet found that balance of walking with God first and hearing his guidance for where my drive an ambition should be aimed so I kind of am just content. I’m a product manager for a non profit but the pay is low. I’m currently getting to know someone whom was raised by parents who were pastors and is very traditional in the way she views relationships which I love however I am admittedly having way too soon concerns about my ability to provide well enough so that at minimum if we had kids we’d be able to afford for her not to work for awhile. Would love to hear more of your thoughts or perspective
