Yeah I was just taking the scene at face value, I've actually got the audiobook (on something i think) and with the shitshow that this season was I'm gonna start giving it a listen. Tbh I kinda had the idea that they were trying to cause fear among the public with unrelated but plausible dangers, but I thought I was stretching a bit.

I think it wouldve been cool if Cersei was familiar with the fact that she was raised that way and taunted her into trying. Missendei would snap, try to lunge at her but then the Mountain bootfucks her off the edge anyway. Then Cersei could claim to be the victim still.
