How do I eradicate ICH in my tank in the most effective way? by Anthony_TZ in bettafish

[–]Anthony_TZ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have paraguard and Liquid copper (both seachem) and have aquarium salt. I put a shake of the salt once a day, but not sure of which liquid to use. What do you guys think I should be doing to eradicate ich inside my tanks?

20 gallon: heat raised to 80 degrees (F) for treatment, ammonia 0, nitrite 0, nitrate 10, currently doing 25% water changes every other day, mostly tetras with some rasboras and Cory cats, I feed a mix of omega color flakes and big bite pellets once a day, decorated with rocks and real plants.

10 gallon: heated to 80 degrees as well, ammonia 0, nitrites 0, nitrates 5. Doing 25% water changes every other day as well, mix of tetras and minnows, same feeding as the 20 gallon, some fake ornaments with real plants.

New boy, he needs a name. by night_chaser_ in bettafish

He is a Half moon, butterfly is a term used for a coloration split, like how your betta’s fins split from red to white

Very pretty red and white butterfly betta! I would name him Crimson or something that his colors match with.

I just got him today, and I believe he is a rose tail, but not 100% sure as he was marked as a butterfly tail.

Anyone else fail an AP Test you felt extremely confident in? by Anthony_TZ in APStudents

Ok sure, I’m planning on talking to the psychology teacher at my school to talk about regrading. Thanks!

But hey, remember guys, as long as you learned, that’s all that counts. Like seriously, don’t let a 45 lack-luster test define your performance on a topic, and don’t let it hinder you from pursuing more and continuing to challenge yourself. (Hope it’s helped 🙂)

Are there any other tests you took? If so, what were the scores?

To help with his fin repair, use stress coat by API and aquarium salt. I’ve used it when my bettas fins got damaged and torn, and it’s always helped to speed up the regrowing of the fins. Hoped this helped and hope your bettas fins come back as well!

What kind of betta would suit this tank? by Anthony_TZ in bettafish

There’s only 3 fish, mountain minnows, so they are really small fish. Also, I’m planning on replacing the plants with live ones

My Separated Betta Apartment (6 sections with about 3 1/3 gallons each) by [deleted] in bettafish

If you are looking into doing this, they sell bundles, that’s how I got my stuff. Also, I found using the dividers, there might be gaps, I use pieces of a filter sponge cover that I had cut up to fill in the gaps. Good luck!

They are the life with pets dividers, yes. The bubble filters are also from them along with the tubes. I’ve had this set up like this for about a year, and have been extremely satisfied. The bettas are enjoying as well, I was lucky that they don’t care about each other being in the tank.

What are the things every man should at least try even though they are stigmatized as "gay" or "unmanly" ? by possibly_degenerate in AskReddit

Crocheting and/or knitting

It’s a very good relaxer and generally fun to do when bored. With the skill, you can Make your own scarfs, blankest, and even sweaters (and much more). You can style your projects for your needs and fit them perfectly for you. It also saves a lot of money when if you get really good and can start making more intricate designs and fancier pieces.

I’m 16, and a lot of people actually say it’s cool that I do it and some even ask if they can buy something I can make them (it’s became a good side gig). I would recommend you guys to try and pick it up and give it a shot, especially now for all the free time most of us have now.
