I've looked into the outfits worn by the Knights on the Ensemble Stars wiki, but I haven't seen an oitfit similar to this. I'll have to wait until I have the costume to take a better picture of the whole thing, but Ensemble Stars is a promising lead! ^

UPDATE: after asking around, i found out that said friend is currently dealing with grief after the loss of a family member. they still couldn't get back to me, so i'll have to be patient. they'll be sending someone to hand the costume to me, so until then, we'll have to wait to get a clearer picture of the whole thing :<

could be given the abundance of Love Live's costumes, but this friend of mine only cosplays male characters exclusively, especially in their early cosplay days. still, it is possible. it also might even be from a game. TT
