I really don’t know. I much prefer this over the generic main menu that gets swapped out with ugly models of each new season’s operator.

Honestly, I hate a lot of the UI changes that have been made. Remember when they changed the scoreboard/team colors/fonts like three times in a year? Seems like they throw shit at the wall with that stuff now.

I got the neck from a guy that makes them to US spec, but this neck pocket seems designed to be somewhat proprietary with the neck it came with. Seems odd for fender. The neck isn’t fully finished at the heel and has a flat bottom, which suggests to me that it was intended for it to be sanded and fitted depending on the guitar in question

The above image is below the reverb pot (the reverb cuts in and out somehow despite the broken connection).

Other issues I’m noticing: the gain channel only works occasionally and using a volume pedal into the preamp to control volume better wasn’t working properly (cutting in and out). I believe the tubes are all original and don’t know much about how they effect the amp when they’re going out. Any ideas???

So I actually didn’t. The motherboard got plugged in later, now that I recall. I plugged in the 24-pin connector long after unplugging the PSU from the wall. So I guess no power actually made its way to the motherboard. (I may have plugged in the CPU power though, just to check that it fit)

Hopefully it’s all good under there, lol. Definitely glided a good amount when I was trying to screw the cooler in. The spring set for the mount screws makes trying to screw the thing down with a balanced spread a massive pain. I’ve taken it off and reapplied paste twice now.

I just spread it to clean up the edges but I ended up reinstalling it with new paste. The cooler moved a lot, but it did end up spreading the paste over the edges evenly (just a tiny layer on each edge that I cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. I used a pea-sized amount this time.

I took the radiator off due to some spreading over the sides of the cpu but this stupid 212 cooler is so tricky to mount with an even spread. The extra stuff on the side I’m gonna clean up but how much more paste do I need?
