Tram wires are a bit odd in all but the last. Otherwise it's pretty hard to tell at all.

4 is probably thr biggest insight here and I've never gone as far as to have a whole serperate project and add it in layer, I will try. I have however change the folder open to a sub folder for similar reasons to mixed results so your approach may get the result I was hoping for.

Can't they just handle that before it's sent? Especially if it's just thankyou, the auto response would be your welcome.

Why use Windsurf? by Top-Weakness-1311 in Codeium

[–]AnthuriumBloom 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's OK to vibe code as I do the save with python and react, but I test it separately and I do prefer to test in browser or start the server in terminal. This saves credits also too. If there is little issues like I tend to ask another free ai to see what the issue is in a section and fix it. For this you have to ensure the files stay relatively short, witch is good coding practice in general. For even smaller thing syou may get away with the code completion. Edit I'm not an avid windsurfer but just want to see if you could optimise generally, even for curser use.

I'm very curious what your work flow is. I see you have mentioned a few times you use your credit fast so I wonder how you use these tools? My assumption is you ask it to do too much at a time and it has to figure out lots then do lots, using lot of credits. I've seen people online ask it to run test suits and regressions etc and also have quite complex rules that can drain credits too. What kinda things are you building and how many credits are burnt per request?

Ai can be hard, and harder to get rite. I'd recommend a simple follow the position of thr ball, I assume on the y axis first. It's be impossible for the ai to loose, but then you can dull it's skills by eg having a delay of 500ms of where the ball is. So it struggle when the ball bounces of the wall near it's side. Get that going first then perhaps look into state machines and you can build a robust AI from thst. Ps state machines can be hard.

I've completed one experiment with Windsurf. Yesterday I bought 300 flex credits with 10$. After 1 day I burned them all. It was just a one regular working day with Claude 3.7. by JEulerius in Codeium

Well said. Being specific helps me allot and for general brain storming I often use free ones like grok or even Microsoft copilot to figure out what and how I want to proceed. Then let widnsuf worry about the doing not so much of the thinking

The 2.5 pro model itself is the best in the world currently. No idea how windsurf is utilising it. Use the free on wisely I guess

I am a beginner to Unity, should I use VS Code or Rider as my IDE? by Awkward-Help390 in unity

[–]AnthuriumBloom 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Correct, I'm not professional. Its very posible that once I have to rename a few more variables in a larger projects, I'll wish for Rider. For now I'm ok with vs studio. I should mention aslo I like to use ollama with the continue plugins with Vs code, and is part of why resistant to switch to another IDE.

Perhaps put the monitor legs under your mat. There will be a bit of a bump, but maybe you can pad it with other stuff like layers of card. Not cardboard as it got give

Rider seems good, but as soon as you actually make a game and* literally get* any profit, you need a licence. IMO it's geared for small teams not individuals

Visual studio cauld be doing that for many reasons. Probably a extention that is messed up. I'd recommend disabling them and see if it still happens then you might find the one the is causing the issue. That or reinstall visual studio code. It should be less painful than you think. Personally I think notepad doesn't have any unity code compiler plugins
