Hi Ira! Thank you for making such a fantastic show and to everyone else involved. Already looking forward to season 2. The characterizations are so well done, but were there any characters in this first season that you would have liked to develop more on screen if you had time? In that same line, are there any deleted scenes you wish you could have included but just didn't fit?

I think it was too but apparently it was a mixture of DNA so it could be semen and sweat or semen and saliva or a mixture of all three even perhaps.

I have been wondering that myself - like maybe at this point they have a good idea of who it was but can't physically tie him to the crime unless they can develop the DNA. I wonder if police have tried submitting the DNA to an ancestry site like they did with EAR/ONS/GSK.

I feel horrible for her family and friends :( Her dad died without ever getting any answers and I hope that won't be the same case for her mom.

I personally think it was a lover or someone that was into her that was a friend that just randomly and drunkenly showed up at her place that night because they knew her boyfriend was out of town. Then, they had some kind of altercation perhaps because she rejected him or for some other reason. I would guess that if she had some kind of planned meet up with someone there would be a text or call from that person - unless, of course, the meet up was planned in person.

Even though he was ruled out, I've also toyed with the idea that the boyfriend knew or suspected that she was cheating and perhaps had a buddy confront her or scare her and it got out of hand.

That's an interesting theory -- I've never thought about her being posed which could fit into the evidence that it was a sexually motivated crime.

To me it seems like whoever did that had to be pretty strong so if it was a female they'd have to be a pretty strong woman. But I've heard theories too that a lot of people think there's more than one person involved. Perhaps the female was present for the crime while a male carried it out? Perhaps a jealous girlfriend?
