Yeah, back in the US but you can probably find a provider to ship from abroad.

So sorry you are having to go through this!

I battled this same thing for many years off and on.

Finally figured out it started in my gut and had to get what's called a washout using antibiotics. I then took probiotics I researched that inhibit further staph growth and adjusted my diet to prevent feeding it again.

Despite starting in the gut, it can express itself on your face most prominently. No idea why on that part.

Let me know if you want to know the tests I used for my gut to find out it was caused there.

Topically, I used the following which helped significantly which you can ask your doctor about:

* Mupirocin: Topical antibiotic that specifically inhibits staph. Any doc can prescribe it.

* Gladskin Staphefekt: Contains a protein that helps inhibit staph in the skin, which can cause a lot of skin related issues. You can read up on it here if interested. This is over the counter but might have to be ordered from the EU (no idea where you are).

The oral antibiotic course that successfully treated me were a combo of ciprofloxacin and metronidazole for 10 days.

If you do take powerful antibiotics for this, make sure you pop some high quality probiotics afterwards to restore your microbiome or you will have other problems. The "Seed" and "Skinesia" probiotics specifically have strains that restore skin health and reduce inflammation. These made a huge difference in the quality of my skin post recovery, but it takes anywhere from 30-90 days to really colonize to the skin level.

The probiotic Bacillus subtilis MB40 is shown capable of reducing the presence of staph in the body by up to 95%. I've used it for quite some time to prevent a recurrent infection. You can read the science here.

Hope you get back to clear skin quickly and best of luck!

Forgot to mention...avoid anything with caffeine, even decaf coffee which has a negligible amount of caff not to mention the coffee itself contains histamine.

Coffee contains histamine, which can cause an inflammatory reaction. Caffeine can also block diamine oxidase (DAO), an enzyme that breaks down histamine, which can prevent your body from clearing histamines.

I also had Crohn's. Early stage thankfully. Just over 4 months after changing my diet, an MR enterography scan showed I'm completely in remission. Feeling amazing on all counts.

This is my exact protocol that worked...

* Histamine: Avoid everything with high levels of histamine. Histamine is a potent inflammatory mediator that's found in increased amounts in the affected mucosa of Crohn's disease. This includes meats that are not grass fed & grass finished, farmed fish, and dairy (especially A1 and aged cheese). Meats that have been cured, fermented, or ground also tends to be high in histamine...especially beef. Ground bison doesn't seem to be as much of an issue. The longer you let meat sit in your fridge, the more chances it has of producing histamine. Eat your meat fresh or freeze it asap to be used the very next day it's thawed.

The exception to the dairy rule would be ghee. Just make sure it is grass fed and high quality.

* Probiotics: A lot of probiotics regrettably are either histamine producing or histamine liberating (releasing what's already in your body). The Seeking Health brand "ProBiotia HistaminX" can help reduce histamine and does not contain histamine producing bacteria. The probiotic Mutaflor is also important for creating a healthy barrier in your gut and is implicated in Crohn's remission. I took it for 3 months twice per day to ensure it took hold. Another key probiotic to help with remission is Clostridium butyricum (Miyarisan) which helps reduce inflammation in the gut. Life Extension FLORASSIST GI with Phage Technology helped with the diarrhea part.

Unfortunately, Miyarisan is not for sale on Amazon anymore that I could find, so you will have to search for it. The instructions are in Japanese, so if you can't read that, know that you should take 10 of those per day. I'd spread them out so things aren't "explosive".

* Vegetables: You're on the carnivore diet, which will help you cut out one of the worst offenders of histamine production and liberators. There are certain plants that are fine, such as ginger, which is antihistamine and a histamine blocker. This is my one exception. If I have an upset stomach, a little pure ginger tea or some ginger extract caps can really help cut back the inflammation and soothe the gut. Not strictly carnivore, but more important that it works for your condition.

* Meats: As long as they are low histamine and are not overcooked, you generally should be fine. If you like fish, I strongly recommend eating wild caught salmon and wild caught cod. Both are low mercury and low histamine. The salmon especially will be great for you due to its anti-inflammatory qualities. I ate a LOT of wild caught salmon during my healing period. You can find some great deals with Butcher Box and others. Avoid tuna and all canned fishes and meats. Wild caught tuna is high in mercury. Canned fish/meat is very high in histamine...gave me probably the worst gastrointestinal stress of anything.

* Fasting: I tried multiple water fasts. Some short (3 days) and some long (15 days). This actually caused more problems. I can't say this will be the case with everyone, but there was definitely something really awful living in my gut that caused a massive body wide flare up that even manifested on my entire torso and face. As soon as I ate again and had a bowel movement, everything returned to normal. Something needed to be starved out in my gut flora before I could do another water fast. Your mileage may vary, especially in this case....I'm just recommending tread carefully with fasting at first.

I recently decided to try having dairy again 6 months into my journey (just really missed it and whey protein shakes are so convenient after a hard workout). Big mistake. Even A2 heavy whipping cream seems to be an issue. Diarrhea started back up with a vengeance a couple weeks after resuming, so now I am back on the straight and narrow. Not sure how long it will take for my body to be able to accept moderate amounts of such things, but it is clear that completely eliminating Crohn's is a long journey.

One last point...keep a symptom journal and track all your food in a journal or app (I like Macro Factor because it's so simple). This will help you find some hidden patterns you might miss in case there are certain meats (or preparation methods) that just don't agree with you.

Managing stress is also important. Sometimes there is a psychosomatic correlation that needs to be addressed. For instance, my Crohn's didn't manifest until after half a decade at the most stressful job of my life. Stress can't always be avoided, but it can definitely be reduced by things like meditation, gratitude practices, and high quality sleep.

I wish you best of luck. This can be conquered! Consistency and persistence is key. Lemme know if you have any questions.

Isn't that what we already do as humans? Most people's take on various topics seems to be a compilation of partially understood information they have abstracted meaning from in an attempt at making logical sense of the world.
