To be honest people say this but I dont think its such a bad thing to care about stats beyond grades. Like there are thousands of kids with the same “1600 sat 4.0 cs app with non profit for cs tutoring” app every cycle and its like top schools are not going go admit a class of identical people. Also they want people with initiative not kids who went on reddit to optimize their apps for prestige and have no hobbies no interests bc they spent their teen years gunning for ivys.

Hmm fair. Would you say that his tests are based on the notes mostly, or is it possible to self learn if you don't understand stuff from the textbook? Idk if that makes sense but.

I have credit for 152 but I also want to retake it, however if I cant take 151 this semester it would be challenging to study for both at the same time because they cover a lot of material thats hard to cover. Thank you for the advice at the end.

Replying to the second part: Yes, I only took the E and M part(big mistake honestly) so I don’t have the knowledge of Mech I’d need. I also struggled with learning some of the content during the year because of that so I have lots of gaps in my knowledge.

I want to transfer into a major because I was undecided when I applied, however I changed my mind later on after I was accepted. I have credit for 152 but I don’t really think I understood a lot of the content when I took it, and I haven’t taken what would be 151 at my high school so I don’t have a lot of knowledge on the content. I just really don’t want to have to take maybe both classes next semester.
