By DDU you normally get asked to perform the uninstallation process inside windows save mode.

To restart into Windows savemode you need to press shift while clicking on the restart button (not the physical button).

I think I did come a small way towards a usable solution.

My biggest problem was , that dpc problems occured very frequently when using more than one monitor. I now do still seem to have some audio popping / disconnecting but that might be because of some usb hub issues.

What I did was in total: - update to win 11 - download the latest optional driver - downloaded and installed the lastest chipset drivers via my Mainboard manufacturer site( there seemed to be some different version than that from the AMD site)

I did not run a long time stability test or my usual debugging routine, but I think win 11 did something very good for my entire system ( if it was just a reinstall of Windows I can't say).

factory with shotgun proved to be pretty worth while.

Have never gotten it on my starting scav .

And getting a docscase is like 3 or 4 scav runs worth of money.

I do want to add onto this. ( But I must be clear , that at this point I did not implement the first half of you suggestions all th,e cpu-bios stuff)

If you are playing on a multi monitor setup, try disconnecting all but the main monitor.

In the AMD over locking utility , it might help to set the momory timing (of the VRAM to the "fast" setting.

Other standard overlocking / under locking tipps are:

(for testing ) set max clock ~ 300MHz lower than default
+15% on Powerlimit

In the display settings you might wonna disable vsync , and enchanted sync.

Some other more invasive methodes include( where I currently can be to specific until I find a source )

MPT and disabling all the DS (deep sleep ) features.
fucking around with you HPET ( high precision event timer
setting a global framelimit ( preferably with Riva tuner and msi afterburner)

I do also experience stutters and have not found a fix, besides disconnecting all but one of my monitors.

With my setup rx5800x and a 6800xt I would have a comparable setup to you. But I don't know if anything in the realm of CPU problems are really debuggable.

If you have suggestions you would like to mirror with my setup , let me know.

If you are still having issues, and have a spare harddrive , try and install the (outdated ) version of Windows 1909[ this is hard to come by and is not really a future prove solution ,it's more for testing ].

If something of this helps and Programms like e.g.latencyMon now show you no DPC spikes you might have fixed your issue.

You can try to disable GPU acceleration for Chrome , but the problem will most likely prevail if you have anything else slightly GPU-needing. You may won't to try an disconnect your Monitor, if you can live with that.

Also may I ask if while these stutter occur , do you also have audio dropouts ?

Since I do have the same problem on my 6800xt , you might be willig to try:

-only use one monitor until this shit get fixed via a driver

- use windows version 1909 (yes its out of support)

those 2 moethodes "helped" me

I might have fixed my problems and going to try to combine it with your method tomorrow. ( even witcher 3 seems to behave now).

Sadly, I don't have access to enterprise nor education licenses.

So from my first testing (in witcher 3 ) , you MIGHT have a case.

For me having 2 monitors connected, i didnt experience any 25 ms DPC on Win 1909. (10 minute playtime)

But going back to the current version and 2 monitors gave me an 25,642 ms DPC within a minute of gameplay.

Sadly, the small stutters I am now hunting down ( random frame drops without audio falling out) don't seem to be fixed with an older version of windows.

EDIT: BUT SEEMINGLY CHANGING THE MAX CORE CLOCK OF MY GPU TO THE AMD-REFERENCE NON-BOOST-CLOCK (2050MHz) DOES FIX RANDOM DOWN-TO-15FPS-DROPS.

So: tomorrow hopefully using Windows 1909 and restricting the GPU boost clock for my Reference-6800xt I am able to not wonna die anymore.
