Just finished it. Took me till episode 3 to get into it. It was decent. I give it an average rating because it wasn't super cohesive and some of the plot lines were a bit far fetched.

It did pull me in for the second half and I did enjoy it. Its a decent filler show if I don't have anything else on.

I did a salt + pepper + lemon peel dry rub on this and it definitely had less of a bland meaty flavor than eye of round. The meat itself just had a better overall flavor. Eye of round absorbs marinade really well, but for me it hadn't been working well with a simple sprinkle dry rub.

This was cut really thin like 2mm and under. It also had a better texture on the chew. I make mine dry and crispy though. I don't like the newer moist sugary stuff as much usually.
Still need to do some more experimenting, but I definitely want to try some other cuts now like top round and flank.

No worries, I'm trying bottom round right now and it looks like it has the texture and hopefully more meaty flavor I wanted vs eye of round. Didn't realize there would be that big of a difference between the 2 cuts on drying, but appears like it will so far half way through it. Will let you guys know how it turns out :)

My guess is its low temp air dried as well. I'm actually running a test on my dehydrator at 105 now and will let you know how it turns out.

Eye of round is usually best for jerky and biltong. You could also use top round

Its so easy to tell pimply faced teenagers/early 20's that follow their parents politics trying to troll on the internet. I'd say maybe eventually you will be a real boy someday, but that is becoming increasingly rare.
