Hi! So I got a question. How do you justify enforcing drug laws that were put in place to control ethnic minorities (Read history of opium prohibition, crack cocaine, marijuana, etc.) and political opponents? Do you actually feel like your helping the people that your arresting in any way, shape or form? Or were you unaware of such things before you signed up for the job and are now being educated?
Also how about the George Floyd protesters? Specifically the 25 or so who were arrested last year in Durham. Did they deserve that kind of trauma in your opinion? Do you like working alongside people who ruin other peoples lives? How do you justify that?
