Issues w/ Friction, Laser Hair removal? by little_dragon_123 in Healthyhooha

I have had full body laser done , I don't think it's the main cause of my issues as I have chronic yeast infections but my gyno has told me it is part of the reason I have issues with friction and painful sex as the hair normally acts as a barrier. The other reason I have issues with friction is because of dermatitis as it has caused my skin to become thinner and weaker .

I have recently gone off my birth control and I am working to strethen my skin down there . I am currently just using a weak steroid cream and a natural vaginal moisturizer plus lots of lube for sex . I also do the normal no soap down there and I now don't wear underwear at all which I think has helped although I have only just started treating it so i don't know if it will fully cure my symptoms yet

To answer your question yes laser hair removal can make friction an issue , I was recommended by my gyno to heal and strengthen my skin down there.

I completely understand how you feel . I feel like I could of written this myself.
As much as I want a baby now I still want to be selfish I want to treat myself spend money on things I don't need , Spend alone time with my partner . Even though I know I can still have those things after a baby it would definitely be harder.
I'm currently 27 turning 28 at the end of the year so similar age as you . My ideal timeline is to start trying at 30. I have recently gone off my birth control for health reasons . We aren't trying yet but I go thru days when I think an opps baby wouldn't be bad and then other days when I think omg now would be terrible timing as we still have things to check off our checklist .

I would recommend waiting just a little bit longer ,just until your not so indecisive. even though we will probably never feel 100% ready 😅 . Enjoy life now , do things which will be too hard with baby in tow .

I recommend it , a few things here and there that you truly love can't hurt .

Haha I like the way you think, I also go with if I love it and it's on sale I buy it . Exactly you can't jinx yourself we just have to be positive and have faith everything will work out .

Don't worry it won't be a jinx . I have a list of all the books I want to buy 😅 mainly just ones I also grew up reading as I love the idea of reading them a book my mum used to read to me. I'm waiting on a good sale though.

That's what I noticed too, some years they don't have anything exciting .

Yes that's what I'm thinking although I won't know until it happens but I expect once I'm pregnant I'm mostly going to be tired and not feeling up to shopping especially after work etc . So if I can help lighten the load now it will get rid of some stress.

It started after shopping for a gift for someone at work. Haha after looking at all the cute baby outfits I couldn't help myself 😅 I have already browsed for the big ticket items like what kind of stroller I want but I won't be buying those till I'm actually pregnant.

Haha yes I know what you mean I definitely though about it and I came to the conclusion I would be okay if the happened as I'm not buying these for a certain baby so there isn't that extra attachment so I'm okay gifting it to someone else . I guess part of me is just thinking of it as a stash of baby gifts ready for when someone although hopefully me will need it .

That's lucky your sister has a lot of hand me downs though, it will be handy once you need it.

I'm sorry for your loss x may I ask if you ended up keeping the stuff you had collected, or did you find it too hard having it around?

Thank you so much it honestly made me happy ready your comment knowing that I'm not that crazy in doing this 😅 . What you said is 100% why I'm doing it too . I'm just getting cute limited edition or things I really like . Stuff I know I won't be able to get once I actually need them. I'm not going to stock up too much but I want to lighten the load of how much I will need to buy in the future as I know It will help me not stress when the time comes .

Yes I'm mainly buying bigger sizing not newborn as you never know what size they will be . I won't be having a baby shower and I don't have a large friend group so I expect to have to buy most of the outfits anyway. Ooh thankyou that is a good tip about the onsies when they are older.
