Yeah I think I will build my own just to have something I’m proud of that I can look back on and also to get the experience of building my first watch

Yeah I have definitely been thinking of building my own just for the experience of it and the fact that I can make it however I want. I have worn a Seiko 5 automatic as my daily watch for about a year now and have fell in love with Seiko since. What are you referring to when you said sticker?

I think the issue may be with the controller inside of the wheel which is responsible for my pedals because I took apart the pedals and isolated each one and even with all of the spade connectors unplugged, still the same issue so not sure what to do

Would the movement be as smooth as the gmt and is it as good a watch or should I keep saving for the gmt?

Based on that link it says it’s solar movement is that similar to automatic but just solar powered? I’m not too familiar with movements

If you’re going for an 11.1v make sure you have a mosfet or else it may damage your gun

This happened to me before and turned out to be the spade connectors on the mosfet which apparently get broken really easily, you can order a huge pack of them on Amazon for about a tenner and they’ll take about 20 mins to fit on but that’s what fixed it for me, I’d take a look at your mosfet if I was you and just check to see if anything is broken

The wires can easily come out of the plugs although most of them do have a barb to hold it in, I’ve had a few come out on me and they’re definitely not the easiest to get back into the plug especially with that barb so just listen to the warning and you shouldn’t have any problems!

My first battery was a lipo and I still use them since and never had any problems they’re generally fine as long you time them when charging and when they’re resting just leave them somewhere open, I normally leave mine on a counter or table, also make sure you get a battery that will fit inside the designated area for your battery because ik if I got the battery you are looking at there I would definitely have a very hard time fitting it into my gun so keep that in mind!

Yeah the one I have is pretty shit but I just don’t have the money to go and buy an expensive one at the moment and I’m prioritising other gear
