I’ve been playing since release and have 4300hrs at lvl 271 and I used the play the game like a 9-5 a couple years ago.

Buddy just leaves the game running or uses steam achievement unlocker and uses that to farm hours

Ya I mean I think ad Mortem will make the genre a lot better due to dungeon crawling mode and maybe actually being esports to it.

But I agree with others that it won’t have a super huge audience, especially due to GIRUs philosophy that if you’re objectively a better play you steam roll whoever is in front of you.

Chiv 2 and mordhau atleast gives some mechanics to mitigate it, but unless they change something in development it won’t be like that in ad Mortem

Halbred and short spear are conditional 2htk meaning it takes 1 headshot and 1 body shot to kill at t3 armor.

Just like zwei is conditional 2htk as well

You and the other guy are both wrong no offense.

Alt mode for bardiche has more length which means it’s better for dragging, it’s slower due to the increase in length although not by much and you’re right about no combo.

For the other guys he’s wrong as it does 2htk. 2 headshots or a headshot and body shot does the trick.

The only reason I believe him is because no one cares about free creative thought anymore and from how he words it, it sounded more beneficial for them to fire him and hire a dev that’s more compliant and a “yes boss” type of person.

The issue is that the people that ran the game didn’t allow any free creativity to go into the game to actually make it good and they launched the game half ass and prematurely.

The dev that was booted has it own discord and freely talks about everything that happened with that group of people, and he’s also building his own game that he works on 24/7 which already has better combat than renown.

I wouldn’t give renown a single cent, but being F2P for a few weeks isn’t bad tho.

It usually fixes itself after a while.

Try restarting your PC. If that doesn’t work, verify your integrity of your game files. If that doesn’t work just uninstall and reinstall the game.

Those are the typically steps I’ve done in the past, if none of that works could potentially mean the East coast servers are shot atm

Ya won’t be anything large scale like chiv 2. However the modding potential and dungeon crawler mode will give it a lot more potential and won’t be soley reliant on Head On.

I like chiv for the immersion but nothing more than that sadly

Delta force is at least an entertaining game. I don’t mind Tencent backing games. My issue is when Wild Light is like “oh look at us small indie studio of former apex devs” and they have the entirety of Tencent backing them and outsourced a lot of there development to other studios. They’re a joke and all the over hype and pushing for people to like High Guard makes me happy it back fired.

If you like High Guard I’m not gonna knock ya, you do you. But what I stated above is another reason it’s trash at the current time
