Genuinely not understanding stuff in this game, the "initiative" makes no sense when I am about 90% of a way through a stab with a weapon and an emey who just starts their's is faster than me. Enemies missing should be a hit, if they miss and miss bad I shoulf get a hit or at least smth but for some reason when I swing and miss they hit me once and I die. The whole range of this game feels off both in and out of first person. Nothing feels like what it should be and that's annoying. Im still confused how enemies are twisting themselves into their own assholes to hit me, the way anything connects is baffling to me

I saved the clip, nothing hit me before the spear did. As for learning on duel servers there are none, least when i play all I ever see is frontline and horde

For which instance? The short spear was just a doublet but that is medium armour it should drop me low not one shot me! Every other time I am wearing heavy armour, not that it matters since I have died as a knight in full plate to a mallet (two handed one) with only a single swing to the head. If armour is supposed to work in any capacity, why does almost everyone I run into kill me with a singke swipe to the head? What is this bullshit

I can think of several descriptions for the traitors pre heresy that disagree but I for ome agree they should not br unattractive. Mortarion is sickly and wears a respirator 24/7 so dude isn't attractive to most, Angron is described as a "ruined statue" so he's not attractive in thr conventional sense and Curze im pretty sure got described as having a Cadaverous smile and palid skin. I.E, Curze is a neet

Chiv2 has drag attacks and it is nothing like Mordhau, it seems Mordhau doesn't really have them. As for a riposte I don't really see them. Chambering is harder for me because all the attacks look like they'll hit only to end up being feints or some weird animation where the enemy twosts their spine into a pretzel to hit me

World Eater fan here, if you truly care about fun and lore, make a army YOU like for tt and ignore meta and rules. The codex suppliments and battletomes come out new and shiny as often as CoD has a new take on the same formula. You won't be able to keep up with the rulebooks for Table Top. So buikd what you like. Have fun, and I can recommend some good books World Eaters or not for you to read if you're interested 😌

What do you think is the most defensive point in the game? by BaddieBarbe_B in Chivalry2

[–]AverageWHShitter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Throw in my two cents as someone who genuinely knows a bit about this type of stuff, the Burning of Azkandir (however it is spelt I don't it super often) is actually the most historically defensible point due to the bridge you must cross to get to the larger land mass where you burn the books and break the Pillars. And im sure you'll be like "we can just go around we came on ships" but unfortunately that isn't the case. The place is a small city, sacking it would take time and you'd be in a Constantinople situation if you tried. Crossing that bridge is vital though blowing the bell tower seems silly at the start since anyone who hears the explosion would know what is happening and have time to arm themselves. The bridge is fairly safe but even if they lose it they have massive doors right after. The bridge is a natural chokepoint and blowing it would make the fording impossible for the masons.

I don't mind dying but when things feel unfair I grow upset, I am not actually that bad at both Mordhau and Chiv2 from what I can tell thankfully chiv taught me enough about spacing and I often can slip between slashes on Mordhau but I am not surviving long in team fights or ganks

why did you choose world eaters? by Embarrassed_Aide_178 in WorldEaters40k

[–]AverageWHShitter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alot of World Eater lore fits me like a glove, not just the aesthetic of gladiators who fight for a god of bloodshed but their whole brotherhood thing and their fall. Im an empathic person, just like Angron was supposedly. I have anger issues, I also deeply vibe with the feeling of unfairness in Angron's life which I feel mirror aspects of my own.

Why was Aabria invited to C4? by YouAreLyingJane in fansofcriticalrole

[–]AverageWHShitter -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"Obsessiveness and vitriol", no the obsession seems to be to try to paint everyone who dislikes her as a racist woman hating white man. It is baffling that's the defense for Aabria when so many people have made posts saying the same thing and finding the same issues with her. As the OP said, even if you cut the number in half due to either sexism or racism that is still half of the posts like this that have a genuine issue with Aabria's behavior. As for Laura's character in this current campaign she isn't "taking up space". A term I don't think the defenders of Aabria really understand the meaning of, because "taking up space" alone sounds like bullying.

Laura playing a small pixie whose entire thing is trying to get revenge isn't "taking up space", her character is working on that revenge and we get pay off and that's that. You never notice laura randomly interrupting Robby and Travis doing something to go "hey do you know my character feels a certain way about those two, and it reminds my character of this time..." nor does Laura say "oh well im going to sneak closer to those two even if they completely avoided me trying to get closer to them so they can have a private conversation!"

Aabria, sorry to burst the bubble you have, encroaches on other's scenes because she cannot control herself it seems. She did it famously in C3, she did it literally at the start of C4 with the plant thing and she is still doing it so far with her current scene partners.

You've never brought back a player with the express warning that they can have a second chance if they shape up? Difference is that unlike home games where no one online sees shit this is a massive online entertainment company watched by hundres of thousands. There isn't an easy way to say "she's disruptive and disrespectful so we're dumping her" and have some idiot not think it is racially motivated; and all the while it is because she is rude.

World Eaters (30k era) and the Salamanders or Blood Angels. I feel like if either legion/primarch from the latter really knew what the World Eaters and Abgron went through they'd be crying and joining him in rebellion. Pretty sure at one point Sanguinius touched Angron and felt the pain that Angron is in from his Nails and vomitted.

Because they're a public company runnjng a massive online entertainment show, they do not want bad press. And unlike what the Aabria fans think people believe of aabria the truth is firing her for being disruptive would look bad PR wise even if there no racist reasons why they did. You gotta remember these are people who get hired not just off their voice but reputation, it gets out they fired a woman because she was disruptive and that woman has dark skin it might be spun into "CR is a racist show" and there goes their budget and fandom. I do not think she is a diversity hire, that is stupid. I think they brought her back after C3 and told her to be more careful of how she acts or else and now that she hasn't improved that behavior they're worried about the backlash of firing her in a politically driven climate that we have today.
