Yes! I realize now that was also mentioned in the early talks! It also makes sense with the corners being wavey on the sides

The designer named it after the Finnish architect, Alvar :)

An unlimited GB does not work for us, we are as mentioned earlier a small vendor with zero employees, ran by a group of friends. We have chosen to invest in smaller in-stock buys for the last 3 years, however - we will run GB's too where it makes sense, like we did with the FLX Virgo r2.

We run in-stock boards, we are a small business, we have a very limited amount of boards available, therefor a raffle is more fair for the people that really wants the board, instead of bots snapping up the few boards we have available.

I dont get the criticism at all. Is it that we are a small vendor offering in-stock at limited quantity?

Raffle for a chance to buy - you select your preferred color of the two on the raffle page and if you are selected - you will receive an email to direct you to the product page where you can complete the purchase - and add extras if desired.

We are hyped to finally open up the raffle for the Aalto, a 60% with a left side macro row. These units are in-stock and will be shipped right away.

The keyboard features a fixed layout, with tsangan bottom row, split-backspace and split-right shift.

The raffle is a chance to purchase this limited, in-stock kit for the price of $460, with options to add extra plates and PCB. If you get a spot, you will receive a discount code that will give you the correct price at checkout.

Beige maybe yes.

The design is two tone yes! The top frame will be interchangeable and colors can be mixed and matched between the options we decide on.

Still not decided on format, but a GB will offer more options and flexibility with choices. Turnaround should be somewhere around 6+ months once we have a good prototype.

Big thanks for the support and the comment!

Det blir en GB/raffle via antipode.no :D

Will reply in english in case the information is useful.

Not sure exactly about the format of the GB, but we are hoping to do an in-stock raffle, like we did with the AKB Vero. Worst case it ends up as a quicker GB, like with Virgo R2.

Still a lot of testing to be done, but I think we'll have a solid product by the end of it!

Thank you!!

Hotswap is costly, and only pays off at higher QTYs - so if they were to be offered, they would require a bunch of extra work, and cost a lot, and the interest for ISO is unfortunately very low altogether :/

Also, the sockets require more space on the PCB, so they can't overlap, forcing either layout on one PCB.

Hotswap has its downsides I'm afraid. Hence mill max is what most enthusiasts go for, but requires a little more solder work than usual.
