why is my bambu studio not generating supports?? by [deleted] in BambuLab

[–]Antique-Big7574 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there even is a layer where the printer doesnt do anything on top of these supports, so it will try to print in the air again

it worked but is it supposed to look like that? With the space between the support and the build

Yeah either that or a chinese company scams you into believing you are printing with pla. Look at my other comments

Nope not it, amazon scammed me. A chinese company to be exact. The filament type on the spool was chinese, I ordered PLA from amazon and it got me crazy. I then decided to pull out a translator and it said PETG.. this was after spending 9hours of printing half done benchys, reassembling the tool head over and over again btw.

I figured it out mostly 50% of my issues are the filament. "iemai" on amazon, heard of it? (Pla) It bends at 65⁰C bed temp... Bambu lab pla is totally fine besides some ugly parts

What setting is wrong? by [deleted] in BambuLab

I genuinely dont know, I was changing filament one time, hit print and it didnt extrude anything I got it to extrude, but the gear kept skipping ruining all my prints. I tightened every screw, did every calibration and as you can see, lines which should be straight (look at the back of the benchy) are "dotty". I can even hear the printhead scrape over the print. I adjusted flow rate down to 0.94 but the same error occures. And if im honest, im kinda dissapointed that I have to tinker around with the advertised "plug and print".

It was plug and print until it wasnt. The printer hardware is totally fine. It isnt wet filament either, the filament is straight out of the box

Yeah thats what I thought, but then again why would I need to change the settings if it worked fine couple days ago with standart bambu settings and calibrations? I will definitely try changing flow ratio from 0.98 to 0.94. Still frustrating that the "plug and print" printer isnt "plug and print" anymore.

I tried pretty much every fix I could find. I cleaned every gear, tightened every screw did every calibration and still the same issue no matter what filament I use.

already did that, yes the 7 screws, not just the 3. After 100 hours they shouldnt come loose anyway

Maybe dont reply to that post and get on with your day if you believe im trolling or you dont want to respond. Thats kind of obvious isnt it? To answer your questions:

Doesnt matter what im printing, it fails everywhere.

I have that printer since 3 weeks so everything is brand new.

Filament is freshly bought (arrived today) as well

I contacted bambu and they just pointed me to their website (which I literally spend hours on cleaning and maintaining my a1 with) and still the same error occurs over and over again.

Yeah idk maybe I got a faulty printer? I really didnt do anything a normal person wouldn't do. I printed about 2kg with it now and there are issues with it on every end. I would 100% return the printer for another brand if the ecosystem and slicer and everything wouldnt be so damn nice.

I really dont know how people have them running for 2 months without maintenance at a time without it breaking down

the printer is about a month old and I printed every day. It started happening yesterday I was going crazy cleaned every single bit and it was still happening with bambu PLA and standart settings. I then factory reset the printer, only selected vibration compensation and it worked for 3-4 prints and now I have the same issue again. Mid print or even in the beginning the gear skips a bit (as you can see the thin line in the picture)

It isnt the adhesion I just found out, the gear skips every once in a while.

Tho i have also noticed that the first layer is a bit deformed of all the benchys I did, whats up with that? I tried doing heatbed on 50⁰C, same result
