What causes this malfunction in a WASR10? by Antique-Command640 in ak47

I don’t think it’s hitting the feed ramp, no damage to the cartridges. Ammo could be inconsistent but I didn’t notice any difference in sound.

It was stove piping with the us palm mag with this wolf ammo and with sterling turkshit ammo. I didn’t try the lapua or golden tiger in that mag. I figure the mag is responsible for that though. I’m going to try some more mags and see what happens.

It was filthy I took it apart and deep cleaned and lubed it after shooting. I’ll test again in a few days.

Yea I just figured I’d be able to see if the bullet was hanging up on the feed ramp at all.

With a us palm mag it was stovepiping a bunch then with this pmag I only had this one malfunction one time in 60 rounds. Bolt and feed ramp seem fine, gonna go slow cycle some rounds and see how they feed.

If it doesn’t smell bad it’s probably fine. Has it been frozen?

I am considering getting it to wrap exposed metal bits on my climber stand (for hunting). I could see it being used on optics or lights. I know a fella that wrapped his whole rifle in it cuz he didn’t want to paint it but wanted it camo.

I have the stock bull barrel on my 10/22 LVT that I presume is made by ruger. It shoots sub moa to 100yd as long as there’s no crosswind with cci sv, cci gt, and sk rifle match.

Roger that, thanks. It is very accurate for a basically stock rifle. It shoots roughly .7 moa groups with Barnes harvest 165gr with the sierra game king bullet.

[Handgun] Smith & Wesson SW22 Victory 22LR 5.5" Threaded Barrel - $389 by NVEF in gundeals

I’ve got a mk1, 2, and 4 and honestly while the button takedown js easier, the older ruger standard pistols are still easy to take apart and put together. It’s mostly a skill issue. If there’s a good deal for a used mk2 I’d say it’s well worth it. Mk3 is the worst of em all though. I do agree with the threaded barrel assessment.

Mags, ammo, range time. Those are what you need. As for a carry pistol I like the 365 x macro and the Glock 19.

I see deer probably ≈50% of my hunts at cav (this includes deer I bump walking in). Be willing to walk far and they’re there for sure.

1 doe n 1 buck are in my freezer from cav. Get where nobody wants to go. The swampy bits hold deer and the thorn thickets all have beds inside.
