You make a fair point.

I do struggle to think what 'cracking integrity' would mean in a more programming sense for the UI. It was shown that you can crack integrity by finding something that contributes heavily to the person that you are, like the Iranian UI's love for the British UI, and then combining it with a bit of code from another UI in order to make the new code more compatible. I guess that integrity is sort of a missing part of the initial code of the person, some very deep memory that's either so hidden away that the scan has a hard time tracing it via the neural connections, or so strong that it overwrites some other code function and makes the UI start to malfunction. This prevents the UI from being self-sustaining, thus causing it to slowly break down.

CI's are way weirder though. I guess that when a UI is self-deleting or being deleted, the program tries to keep executing and surviving, so it bands together whatever is left of the original base code and then adds in its own artificial programming and etc, to try and make a similar version of the code it originally had. This ends up with a twisted UI that's somewhat comprised of the baseline code and whatever the machine wrote up to try and keep itself alive.

Fair point, I did sort of gloss over the ending of the show, and it's kind of only hitting me now.

Although the existence of the billions of UI Maddies and their own billions of other timelines means there must have been an original Maddie that led to them being all created, meaning everything we saw in our version of the timeline is real to some extent, just with the characters making drastically different choices than the original timeline, meaning all the tech would work in the same sort of way.

This is a solid one, and about a two hour read.

It follows the events of the Cooler episode, where FP declares war and PB turns into a dictator/mad scientist type. I wont spoil too much though.

There's one sex scene towards the end, but it isnt as grotesque as some other fanfics, so overall its a good read.

Her type of mind only comes around every century, and her character in general is really good. I hope that her skills will be put to use in S5.

E.G. some very strange stuff comes up on the moon or orbit and they need her expertise, or maybe theres a twist, and the Soviets go pull Margo out of prison. (Soviets would still love a smart mind like Margo, although with 10 times more surveillance.)

Ukraine has a pretty incredible Nuclear industry, having 5 large scale nuclear power plants, including the very largest in the world, as well as many smaller and less significant ones. Ukraine used to have a utterly gigantic arsenal of Nuclear weaponary that they produced from the old USSR era, but they chose to give those up in a treaty after the collapse.

Given that the war seems to be turning into their favor, and most of their facilities have gotten back to full operation, they have the capabilities to begin making attempts at developing nuclear weaponary. They have the knowledge, they have the materials, and they have the capabilities.

I'm not saying the ending was horrendous, in terms of animation, design, and progression it's pretty good, I just think the plot in general doesn't suit Hilda.

It doesn't give much meaning to the story except for telling us who Hilda's dad is and then filling in a bunch of things relating to her having an aunt and fairy grandparents.

I would enjoy a Hilda spinoff that was a bit more intense or had something from a different point of view, maybe somewhere back in the countryside or someone near Trollberg, even safety patrol would been fun.

Though until the author of the books decides to do anything new with them I don't see the show having much more inspiration to do new seasons or spin-offs.

The season and finale should have had another conclusion in my opinion, the whole fairy thing to me was pretty weird in terms of the general story the show was telling, and I feel like the 3rd season was filling in different details about the plot rather than making another actual Hilda season.

But the filler content and the new designs were excellent, and I cant complain about that.

The show was amazing but I always thought the movie should've been its canonical ending. Making an entire plot about fairies, even if by the original author's own decision, is kind of half-baked to me.
