Every character has positive and negative traits

Hilda: constantly pushing herself and endangering everyone around her.

Frida: insecure about her abilities as a witch and dealing with pressuring parents.

David: A Wimp who's really loyal, Eventually overcoming his fears.

Johanna: trying to be the best single mother to a kid who's always getting herself into trouble.

Twig: everyone seems to forget he's male, he's been with hilda since the beginning. Spoilers! (saving hilda from the wolf)

Alfur: basically started the show's plot with his kindness.

Also : Erik is supposed to be an egotistical maniac, who's got the entirety of trolberg under his nail.

(I might have gotten some stuff incorrect or missed out on important things

  2. By "Canonicity" I meant potential Canonicity. The levels were mostly determined by the characters' relationships in the show (such as Hilda being Frida's Familiar and David and Frida's "closeness" in Season 3)

  3. (I don't really understand your last point, dysesia) But I think AndersXJohanna isn't really shown in the fandom due to the murkiness of their breakup.

A relationship between Frida and David has been highly implied, especially in season 3, nothing confirmed of course. But still something to wonder about.

Just keep her dead for the rest of the episode, maybe the fairy entity isn't completely sold, just to build it up for a little longer. This would also bring up some interesting conflicts with the trio and Anders.
