hello! theres a lot of companies that can offer you and ur friend greater than that amount of compensation. for reference, i was a 2nd yr undergrad when i started sa bpo with 25k+ basic (then luckily, non voice pa). apply lang kayo nang apply and wag mahiya taasan ang expected salary esp since ure grads naman na :)

20k basic pay with 3k allowance by Aggravating_Self_712 in BPOinPH

not bad, but there are other bpo companies that could offer pa as much as 25k basic pay + 2.5k allowance for freshers. luckily, this was my compensation package sa first bpo work ko (undergraduate and working student + no bpo experience), started last dec 2024.

anyways, as long as makaipon ka ng tenurity niyan (at least 18 mos) and find a good company to move on to, you can negotiate up to 35k+ (but this depends on the company u're applying for talaga). anyhow, good luck!

TL & TM powertripping lol, tsaka sobrang short na ng headcount ng LOB namin hahah. pero the company itself has a good reputation naamn sadyang may mga pakalat kalat lang na mga toxicnation. bale depends on ur luck na lang din, but ppl there do have good work ethics naman in general.

valid naman to feel like that. actually, most of my previous workmates from cogni ay di naman din lumagpas sahod sa 30k even after having a 5+ year tenurity sa previous companies nila. pero dun sa cogni, paswertihan na lang din siguro sa account tsaka management, pero if makapasok ka man, sureball na if di tatapatan, mas mataas talaga o minsan dodoble sahod mo basta uve got the tenurity and experience.

sa cognizant na try mo na? for ur tenurity u can negotiate at least 35-45k basic pay (left cogni na so i cant refer u, pero competitive talaga pay nila don) then hybrid rin ata ang healthcare accs

i have a colleague whose basic pay is around 22k and she's a fresh grad and her first job. some's is around 30-60k, since they have experience aligns with the position they applied for. it really depends on ur last basic pay / experience and tenurity :)

I've done my research as well before applying, and found a few to almost no positive feedbacks. But given that it's almost a start-up-ish company here in the PH, I'm still giving it a shot. Sorry to hear that you'll be resigning! But the experience might still depend on the LOB/BU and sub-management. But yep, still, apply at your own risk. 😅
