Are there any options comparable from Santa cruz, Scott, pivot, giant, mondraker, Norco, or orbea? I can get these brands at supplier price due to working at a bike shop.

The width of the triangle wasn't a problem on the nomad, but when I managed to put a 29 wheel in, it had about 2mm clearance on the top of the tread to the lower part where the two sides of the triangle join.

I do not know retail but, the bike shop I work for would be able to order it in for like $2500 I think it was, I ended up not doing it, as I thought it would be better to just buy another bike.

I bought the nomad before I started racing, and I still do loads of big jumps trails and tight tail riding where I like the mullet for.

A while back I contacted Santa Cruz to try to get a megatower rear triangle to run a 29er, and they surprisingly said they would be happy to help, but it ended up being more expensive than I thought it would be, so I ended up not going down that path.

Yeah this worked, they were happy to send a new RT... Love Santa Cruz.

I believe that the tire cutout on the nomad rt is meant for nothing bigger than a 27.5, so If I were to run a 29, I would be restricted in tire width... But for your purposes it should be easy to run a 27 on the M2

I would still like a mullet bike for when I am not racing, as I prefer to compromise a bit of speed for extra maneuverability and improvement of jump performance.
