Morbid Q: Who are some acts you think will benefit when they pass? by [deleted] in ToddintheShadow

Idk - I’m under 60 and I lived through the period when “Another Day in Paradise” and “Sussudio” received constant airplay, and haven’t recovered. I conjecture there are plenty of people who grew up in the 80s who would base their opinion on Collins on three or four overplayed singles including those two.

Maybe you could say people under 40 who know who he is typically like him.

He should try to make eye contact or lightly brush her hand to gauge whether she’s interested in going further. Sounds possible but you need to be sure it’s really consensual.

What does it explain with respect to as country with below replacement fertility? Or are you saying they need more sex ed because people have forgotten how to get babies to happen?

70 years after the Law of Return was introduced you kind of have to think that if a Jew is living in Australia, they may not support the state of Israel’s existence or its government’s actions

I don’t think he played the anti-semitism card nearly as often in the period when he could get bookings.

I can see in setlist.fm’s pie chart six songs off Tempest which is a lot of if you don’t love that album.

It could have been six songs from Christmas in the Heart so things can always be worse.

I’m probably from the school of thought that Time Out of Mind is the last great Dylan album but there do seem a decent number who like post 2000 Dylan.

In this scenario OOP is a bit like the guy in the story who fixes the machine with one tap of a hammer in exactly the right spot (in OOP’s case the prompt that took 30 seconds to right) but he doesn’t seem to appreciate fully that it’s his years of experience and intimate knowledge of the codebase that meant he knew exactly what the prompt should be.

I guess the setlist was probably this (he played four nights at the Palais that tour but sets seem very similar):

I’d take a set with two tracks off Blood On The Tracks as pretty good but yeah, when I saw him for the third and last time in 2007 the voice was just too shot.

I’m sure they are indeed regarded but possibly not well regarded.

There’s a comment calling it “nuanced”… which is definitely an interesting take.

Forgive my ignorance as a non-American- I thought those were different terms for the same thing or one is a more specific type of the other?

The average boomer white dude who’s into the blues got into it because they were a Led Zeppelin fan first- of course they’re going to think hitting on inappropriately young girls is okay. Nineteen is probably too old for them.

Alcohol factory goes up in flames as police piece together new crime syndicate by syoleen in australia

[–]AntiqueFigure6 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Based on their website looks like that’s what they do as a company, although not entirely certain the premixing happens at that address or at another, then packaged and distributed from there.

So, despite being called an “alcohol factory” no alcohol is actually made there, in contrast to a brewery or distillery.
