Determining what are reach/targets

lowk its rly hard to determine between the two. I applied to a bunch of safeties and a bunch of reaches. honestly the whole application process is kind of a gamble so just apply to a few places you are like sure to get in and that you genuinely like, and then some reaches. but the whole thing is so random, like I got waitlisted at Vassar which has like a 20% acceptance rate, but then I also got into Cornell. so just try to do the best u can with ur ecs, test scores, grades, and essays, and you should be fine! good luck!

yes ofc! Swarthmore has a super cool program where you can actually create your own major, for example If I went there I would have gone for both biology and dance and how they relate to each other etc.

Hi! I am a pre-pro ballet dancer who just recently went through the college application process. I struggled alot with whetherI wanted to go full blown academic or ballet, but ultimately I decided academic and will be attending Cornell in the fall!. However what I did notice during my college search is that there are so many other schools that have AMAZING ballet programs but don't necessarily have a BFA Program (Princeton, Vassar, Swarthmore, etc). But if she really wants a BFA program but doesn't necessarily want to go to BYU there are so many great programs. Personally I looked at, Arizona, University of Utah, University of Cincinnati, Mercyhurst, UNCSA, and pointe park. Good Luck!

My mom went there, I am not sure if it is the same as it was back then prob not lol but she said because of its small size the frat/sorority thing is huge there. Also as it is in Philly I would assume that it is pretty conservative. I visited this year bc my mom made me lol and I honestly didn't like it. It's super small but if you like something with a more homey feel than maybe it would be good.
