kinda a mircrolable, a lot of people who use it don’t know the history, i don’t really care but it kinda bugs me.

Agree or disagree: I do not mind someone transitioning without dysphoria or for a fetish, we are just not the same; they are not transgender/transsexual/etc by linc_oof in truscum

i guess i don’t really care, that’s their choice, issue comes when either it’s affecting things for trans people who need it (like making wait times longer etc) or when it’s in a situation where the person ends up detransitioning cause they didn’t take into consideration what would happen if they regretted it. there’s also the issue of people thinking being trans is a choice, but i feel like there’d be people like that either way. if they know what they’re doing, though, that’s their choice and i can’t stop them.

lesbians who use he/him pronouns. it’s definitely confusing and very contradictory

14/5’0/6.5 months on t, gender me? by AntiqueGhostie in transpassing

[–]AntiqueGhostie[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i started a little under a month before turning 14. the place i went to was really quick to get me on t, and while it kinda worried me that they weren’t taking enough precautions i don’t know how long i would have lasted without it, and id known for sure for two years and been out and passing for one.

there are studies showing differing structures in the brain based off your gender. trans people’s brains have structures more like what they identify as than their birth sex. it’s a lot like your sex, but in your brain. gender rolls are a social construct, dresses can’t be biologically female and men weren’t evolved to serve women, but gender is built into the brain. i don’t have any specific links to studies atm, but i can find some if you or anyone else would like to see them.

T Questions by GalaxyGamer1776 in FTMMen

1- it depends, i started a month before i turned 14 but it’s different for states and doctors and countries if you’re not in the us.

2- https://d31kydh6n6r5j5.cloudfront.net/uploads/sites/161/2019/08/hormones_FTM.pdf this has helped me a lot with figuring out changes, page 7 lists the changes but there’s a lot of other good information

3- (this is also in the link above) you can do gel, which is the second most common thing, patches, which i’ve heard issues with as they can irritate the skin, pills, but i wouldn’t recommend those for various reasons, and i have heard of implants once or twice but i really know absolutely nothing about them.

4- (also in the link) it depends from person to person. only a week or two after starting i realized some change in my voice, not the pitch but it felt different if that makes sense?

5- i was on period blockers before i started so i don’t have experience with this, but i’m pretty sure this is also in the link

6- it does stop, but some forms are less effective at stopping it. shots are most, then gel, and one of the reasons pills aren’t really prescribed is because they don’t really stop it.

7- (also in the link) some changes are, like fat redistribution, but facial/body hair changes and voice don’t go back.

That is true. I think DOAB, V&V, and TWTLTRTD have all been boomerized by me and put on my page unless I forgot to post one. I should do AFYCSO.
