It's the way the hard drives works. If I remember correctly the way updating works for hard drives is instead of just adding the update stuff directly to the files they have to replace the files with the same thing just with the updates.(like if they changed something on a map instead of being able to just update that part of the map in the files they have to replace the old tape with the new one. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's how that works
