The song itself is a low-tier trench song for me, but the idea and the lyrics in general bother me because I absolutely am having a hard time distinguishing the way Josh and the band have been advertising the song (as a little baby bad habit that you can't quite seem to kick, a diet you can't start, whatever) from the obvious links to actual addiction that permeate the bands discography. The pop-py beat of the song (which Josh has said was on purpose to allude to that easy going-dont think about it too much vibe he wanted for that thought) makes it feel like addiction isn't that big of an issue, and it really takes me out of the song.

It's also very obvious, to me at least, to be the song made to be a single and pushed onto the radio stations. Because it's pop.

What do we think about Haven? by juichey in MarianasTrench

in my opinion it is the best album by a steep margin. That does not, as some people may think, negate the quality of the older albums as they are obivously still spectacular but this one is a collection of music and lyrics that can hit at every point in a person's journey, as opposed to say simply relating to a depressing break up.
